Well would you take a fucking look at this. Do you know what this means? Not only are all these hard workers poor (but hard work makes people rich????), but capitalism is also hella racist. Socialism and communism both give everyone the same opportunities, but why would we want that?! That would take white privilege out of the world of work. Equal opportunity for all colors? Fuck that, right? I prefer capitalism, where the class system and minimal regulation of business allows blatant discrimination in the work place.
I mean, surely the rich get rich by working hard and being honest. This is America, right?
Whoa! Excuse me, graph? Anon told me hard work yielded wealth??? This canât be right! The actual workers of corporations bust their asses to make the profit for the corporations??? If this were the case, that would mean that CEOs *gasp* STEAL profit from workers???? WHAAAATTT?????
Hard work does not render wealth in a capitalist setting, or the term âworking poorâ wouldnât exist. Look around you! :)
While some physicists may be working on string theory or quantum mechanics, Manuel Linares has decided to turn his attention to something else entirely â ice cream.
The Spanish physicist and now professional cook has announced that he has invented a âmagicalâ ice cream that changes color as you lick it. Before itâs served, the treat is a light blue color, but this quickly changes when the server adds a spray of âlove elixir, as Mr Linares calls it. The spray transforms the ice cream into a dark pink shade in around 10 to 15 seconds.
When the customer licks the ice cream, it again changes into other pink shades as it melts The formula, which remains a secret, is made entirely from natural ingredients, according to Mr Linares. The Spaniard said he gained his inspiration from the British ice cream genius Charlie Francis, the creator of a fluorescent ice.Â
The chef is currently offering his ice cream at his shop in in the town of Calella de Mar, in the east Spanish province of Barcelona. He is also working on another two ice creams. One will react to ultraviolet lights in clubs, while another will turn from white to pink as itâs eaten.

Tension between the âmundaneâ and the âprofoundâ resonate throughout these images. The appropriation and recontextualisation of found photography is a controversial topic. For example, it can usually be assumed that the intention of the photographer was not to have their images become so publicly exposed. Artists have also been known to respond to vernacular photography, so that their visual interpretations are released into the public sphere alongside the original imagery. To put it another way, imagine if you lost your disposable camera whilst on holiday, and an artist or collector, like Erik Kessels, decided to publish your personal photos. You might be completely unfazed by it; you might see it as an extreme invasion of your privacy. It takes âfinders keepersâ to a whole new level. Controversy aside, these albums are excellent social documents. They can reveal much about the interests of a national culture or identity, such as with the acquisition of a new television in 1980s China, as well as those of the relevant individuals. I particularly love the set âHow Not To Photograph Your Black Dogâ. Oh the trials of being an amateur photographer!

Thousands of people were forcibly sterilized after Virginiaâs Eugenical Sterilization Act was passed in 1924. Three years later, the Supreme Court found the law legal and it stayed on the books until 1979. More than 7,000 people were sterilized under the law; more than 65,000 forced sterilizations were performed nationwide.
