How did you manage to travel alone/was it scary

It’s always something I’ve wanted to do, you know one to tick off the bucket list. When I booked my tickets I was very confident about the whole idea. On the plane there I was very scared thinking “what if it’s too busy to meet anyone or for anyone to notice the solo traveller”.

When I landed though I managed to make my way to where I was staying, met a group of people, talked over drinks for the whole night, watched the sunrise over NY from a rooftop and strolled my way back home with new friends as the sun came up. It was then I knew this was one of the coolest decisions I’ve ever made.

What is the best place you have visited?

It would have to be a toss up between Japan and NY. Japan was a real discovery trip and opened my eyes to a new culture I instantly fell in love with. I can't wait to discover more next year when I go again.NY on the other hand was my first solo trip and it was incredible. Being such a beautiful yet congested state everyone I talked to was so interesting and unique. The city as well had so much to offer and I was blown away.

If I had the time to sit down and do it properly, believe me, I would. I wouldn't want to just have some half assed video rushed and out up due to demand. If I were to do it again I'd want to make sure it's perfect in my eyes. Thank you though because I'm probably the happiest I've been in the last few years!
