An ominous floating cube has appeared outside of my house and started singing dirges in a previously unknown tongue and demanding the blood of a virgin, what should I do?

It would be best to sate its bloodlust. Did it specify a *human* virgin? There may be a legal solution to your problem. Only other solution I can think of is to recite the sacred rites of Cubilor, but those are in the Unspeakable Tongue, so you'd need a practitioner of the Forgotten Ways to help you with that.

Gnomes are great; we'll definitely have a few. Most likely pink or brown. All the alien species will have their own names. And, I'm not sure what a dacula is, but it sounds cool.

Nonsense Color Pie: Creatures

Pink creatures often create value evenly for each player or specifically aid your teammate, then their other abilities allow you and your teammate to better make use of the resources they generate.

Yellow creatures have a lot of on attack effects, as well as effects that target randomly. They occasionally have abilities that cause or benefit from damaging yourself (like on Lightning-Flinger) or discarding cards.

Teal creatures often have complicated or convoluted abilities and focus on using consolidating power into a few large creatures, often through abilities that buff themselves when you control or sacrifice smaller creatures.

Orange creatures usually destroy themselves or are particularly weak. They gain strength or create value when they or another creature dies.

Brown creatures have relatively simple, though diverse, effects ranging from discounting your spells or destroying an opponent's permanents to providing keywords to all of your creatures. They try to do one thing, really well. If they only have keyword abilities, they usually have aggressive stats to compensate.
