Something about Mike wheeler suffering quietly throughout season 5 but as soon as It’s about the love of his life he went into full crash out mode and probably lost his voice from how loudly he was screaming

It makes absolutely no sense for the Duffers to make S5 open ended if they’re going to shut down fan interpretations. The fans interpret it as El is alive and Mike will one day find her, and the the Duffers go on and say “no no no”. Like really?

I’m feeling very similar to how I felt after reading The Fault in Our Stars & Divergent in middle school. I am a college student now. This is not ideal. I never wanted to feel that way again.

I'm still not over it. Why her?? Our girl deserved a better ending then what they gave us. I knew they were going to end it so predictable but I was hoping to be wrong.

I finished the finale 9 hours ago. I am still thinking about it. There is an ache in my chest. El was my favorite character. I actually hate how they left the ending up to interpretation. I can’t believe they actually went that route. After everything she went through, everything she did to protect everyone, after risking her life numerous of times. After all that, her ending was always going to be death? Now I understand why MBB was so detached from this season (her acting was totally fine, just with promoting the show, interviews, etc).

"El moved on" whole reason she agreed to suicide fake out is to protect Mike. She was afraid that they will kill him the same way they killed Kali's friends.

She said that she will ALWAYS be with him. She found a place with THREE waterfalls, just as HE wished. She could have found any other place to live, but she found herself not one not two but THREE goddamn waterfalls.

Neither of them "moved on", they have an active YEARNER OFF.

I cannot with this fandom sometimes. When vol 1 came out, certain fans were all “Mike Wheeler is SO back!” and were loving him. Then when vol 2 came out, and a certain ship didn’t happen, they started calling Mike an a*shole and claiming character assassination.
