What's your sister like?

“You mean Katie? Well...she’s really stubborn, but she’s the most outgoing out of the two of us and she’d always try to get me to meet new people back when we lived with our mom. Even though our interests differ so drastically, I still love her. She’s in the fashion business now, so I don’t see her often but we make time to call each other when we have breaks.”

But where she is online, she likes to post pictures of her Pokemon, not to mention the occasional status update here or there on her work.

“I actually ran a presentation on Ghost-types, with the help of a relative. It was sort of a safety presentation? A lot of people go into abandoned buildings during Halloween comepletely unaware of the Ghost-types living there and there’s a bit of news about bad things happening because of this. I could probably find my notes I had for the event and read off some of the points, if you want?”

“T-There’s more than one…?” her mind wandered into several what-ifs before she snapped out of it. “Oh! The street! It was…um…uh…”

“It was a plant…a tree? No, a flower! The name had a flower…lily, daisy…rose! But it wasn’t just rose…um…” she seems to be having trouble as she tries to make sense of her thoughts. “P…Pen-Penrose! Penrose Avenue!” Rebecca nodded, sure that was the answer. “I-I’m sorry, I’m just so scatterbrained and forgetful…”

“Hey, don’t sweat it. You stopped to ask for directions, so your sense of direction is better than my brother’s.”

“Why do you always try to comfort people by throwing me under the bus?”

“Love ya too, Robin!” The terrible little sister teased, while tapping the address into the map feature of her phone. “Alright, I’ve got directions to the street, you wanna just follow us?”

“I-I’d really appreciate that, thank you!” She smiled a little. “Seeing you two interact kinda makes me...miss my younger sister.” She paused after saying that, before realizing how that could have been interpreted. 

“N-not like...! U-um...she’s just really busy all the time and she’s always traveling s-so I don’t get to see her as often as I used to, a-and...” She wasn’t sure if she was explaining this correctly.

“Oh dear…I think I might be lost…ahh…” Rebecca fidgets a bit. “No, no, no…! Wasn’t the research lab on this street? I don’t recognize any of these buildings…”

“E-Excuse me!” She calls out to the person that had just passed by her. “I’m ah…a little lost. D-do you know which way the research lab is…by any chance?”

“The research lab?” Robin parroted as the young woman caught his attention, “Well, I guess maybe-”

“No.”

Before Robin could make the situation worse with his directions (or rather, his lack off), little sister Katrina whacked Robin across the head with a rolled up newspaper and stepped up.

“A research lab? Do you know its name, or the name of the street it’s supposed to be on?”
