BUT RAYQUAZA HAS her suspicions based off the little details around the vague auras surging in the distance — they worry her, so she does not bring them up specifically. The dragon lord huffs, tossing her head minutely.

❝ So one would think! And yet trouble oft spreads. ❞

“Same here. It’s hard for me to pinpoint specific legendaries, unless they’re one from Hoenn for obvious reasons.” Kyogre wasn’t as familiar with the other regions’ legendaries, besides the main trios.

Whereas Rayquaza may have a clue of who the surging auras belong to, Kyogre really can’t put her finger on it. She doesn’t believe it to be a problem anyways, though it is a bit hard to ignore...

“I hope it doesn’t come here! I’m good at fighting Groudon, but if it’s something else? Something stronger?” She shook her head. “I’d get washed up!”

❝ I am inclined to agree that it is far, sibling mine… My senses are attuned to you and Groudon, mostly. If the disturbance comes close, we will likely know more — but such a case is not preferable. ❞

There’s some human energy that Rayquaza’s perceptive about, thanks to Mega potential, but it seems irrelevant here.

“That’s how mine are too. It’s easy to tell where you and Groudon are, but... every other legendary is like... muffled, unless they’re really close to me.” Kyogre wondered if Rayquaza had a better idea of what was going on, but part of her was almost apprehensive about asking her.

“All we can do it keep a lookout for now. If it is in another region, I doubt... whatever it is, has a reason to leave and come all the way over here.”

❝ It does seem to spell out trouble, but with fortune may Hoenn pass unscathed… ❞

“It does seem like it’s kind of far. Like... well, I don’t know. I’m not really good at sensing things unless it’s really strong, or if it’s right in front of my face.” Like Rayquaza right now. Still, her senses were a bit muddied, though she didn’t feel as if she or Hoenn were in any immediate danger.

“Fear not, all will be well. Probably. Maybe. We hope.”

“Oooh-- it really gives you the heebee-jeebees, doesn’t it? And not in the good way.” Kyogre would shiver. “I hope you’re right, and I hope whatever it is stays out of Hoenn.”

“We should go explore Sea Mauville! I’m really good at diving!”
