           He could say he almost liked the sound of that. A little restraint            to spice things up didn't sound so bad. With hands at the collar            of his shirt he started to undo his button-up plaid. One button            at a time it opened up, and with them all undone, he sat up a            little to pull it off. The undershirt fell away the same.

           At the gesture he smiled a little sharper, his grin a mix of curiosity            and amusement. He leaned in as directed and offered up a            quipped brow.

           ❝ What you got planned now?"

           The angel falls, her body curled, her legs extended.             She aims to land with the grace of a cat, and with the             subtle sound of heels she does. Blade shine and sing            from beneath her sleeves, her attention turned to the            commotion behind her. The rumble of an approach,             the threat of danger. It throws trashcans and rubbish             into the air like pebbles.

           It is a beast—wild and crazy—chasing her or, perhaps,             running from her.

           No matter who be the prey, who be the predator,                only   one   will   come   out   of   this   alive.
