Avro Vulcan bombers
Brigadier General Chuck Yeager commanded the 405th Fighter Wing from 1966 to 1968, where he flew over 127 combat missions in the Martin B-57 Canberra bomber in Vietnam. Although primarily a fighter pilot, Yeager utilized the B-57 for close air support and interdiction missions. Though his command included several types of aircraft, the B-57 became his preferred choice for combat operations.
