cara is immensely capable and combat-savvy. she does not take shit from anyone and has no desire to talk about her feelings. she will be distant, careful, and probably combative with anyone attempting to get too close. this is a new defense mechanism of hers ever since alderaan was destroyed (she fears connection, then losing said-connection to violence or death).

captain rex commands the 501st legion of clone troopers during the clone wars. he serves as third in command to anakin skywalker and fights for the grand army of the republic against the separatist army. rex is a capable leader, a born strategist, and competent warrior who cares deeply about the men under his command. just like his brothers, rex was created from jango fett's genetic template, and appears identical to the other clone troopers... with a few exceptions. he dyes his hair white-blond, shaves his hair very close to his head, and has decorated and retrofitted his helmet to appear unique to him. rex has no tattoos.

i primarily write rex during his time in the clone wars and explore interactions with him, his friends, and his allies. anything written post-clone wars would need some plotting beforehand!

artemis balances on the precipice between renegade and paragon choices. her morals are very strong, which may lead to them making more ruthless choices in order to protect the ones she loves or do the right thing for the greater good.

both of their parents were in the alliance military. her childhood was spent on ships and stations as they transferred from posting to posting, never staying in one location for more than a few years. following in her parents' footsteps, they enlisted at the age of eighteen.

psychological profile: war hero

early in their military career she found herself facing an overwhelming enemy force. they risked their own life to save their fellow soldiers and defeat the enemy despite the impossible odds. her bravery and heroism have earned her medals and recognition from the alliance fleet. she almost single-handedly repelled an attack by batarian slavers on elysium, earning the star of terra, the alliance's highest honor.

optimus is the leader of the autobots - a sentient, heroic faction of robots who hail from the planet cybertron. these robots can scan other mechanical, often non-combat oriented vehicles and transform into them at will.

after losing their home planet of cybertron to a devastating war against the evil decepticons (and their leader, megatron), optimus and the other autobots traveled to earth to recover an object called the allspark. they hoped its recovery would aid them in their quest to restore cybertron... but in the end, the allspark was destroyed in order to kill megatron. cybetron can no longer be saved. because of that, the autobots remain on earth and work alongside human military operations to eliminate any remaining decepticons.

this portrayal of optimus is highly headcanon based and bayverse-centric, specifically focused between the first and second films. typically, interactions with optimus will revolve around his work alongside NEST (the non-biological extraterrestrial species treaty, which allowed for the creation of a joint autobot/human faction in the united states military).

info about interacting with optimus:

when optimus wants to blend in (or put someone at the wheel of his alt form without making anyone suspicious), he can project a human "version" of himself that looks like a real person. the holoform is physical, too — it's "holomatter," so you can grab his arm, touch his shoulder, etc. etc. he just has to recharge it after around 5 constant days of use.

i'll say that optimus's holoform appears to be in his 40s and sorta "matches" the flame-painted peterbilt. he's a handsome, bearded trucker with thick black hair, strong shoulders, and a square jaw. his face is a little pockmarked and his body shows its wear and tear (sorta mimicking optimus himself and all the shit he's been through), but his blue eyes (which match the shade of optimus's optics) are very kind and make you feel safe.

you might approach the peterbilt truck and see this holoform projected in the driver's seat already so no one around you is like "hey who's driving that truck?" or he can use that holoform to accompany you to events or get places his giant 28 foot self can't go.

hypatia is the herald of andraste and the leader of the inquisition. hypatia comes from the noble house trevelyan family in ostwick, and was sent to the chantry conclave as a representative of her family due to her devout andrastian beliefs. she is the sole survivor of the conclave explosion, the events of which gave her the power of the anchor: a glowing green mark on her left palm that can disrupt or seal rips in the veil.

hypatia begins with very minimal combat training, but, with time, advances her skills and becomes quite proficient with a sword and shield. she also begins as an extremely faithful woman, passionate about her andrastian beliefs and belief in the Maker. over time, however, the events of the game slowly shift her focus, force her to question her beliefs, and recognize that her strength may not come from an outside source — it may come from within, instead.

limited by her overbearing parents, the restrictions of the chantry, and noble requirements as she grew up, hypatia is very unworldly at the start of the game. because of this, she asks tons of questions. she is adamant in her quest for knowledge and the expansion of her beliefs, values her companions' input, and often goes against her own biases to try and push herself past her limited knowledge of the world.

by the time of veilguard and the quest to stop solas, hypatia has completely shed her reliance on her andrastian faith and finds her own strength and internal value beyond the hands of a higher power. she knows she cannot rely on the Maker to save the world — only she and her allies can do that.

emily is an asset handler and logistics coordinator for the undercover black-ops organization treadstone. formerly a cia agent herself, emily was promoted to work in the clandestine operation and now resides in langley, virginia, working within the cia's headquarters as asset moran's direct handler. she is the primary point of contact and vital touchpoint for all of his direct access to the organization. she is the brilliant brain running the show behind the scenes to moran's on-the-ground, gun-toting brawn.

while moran infiltrates and eliminates assets at the direction and discretion of treadstone's higher-ups, emily sits at her computer at langley and plans, schedules, times, and coordinates his every move, directing him through his earpiece and accessing the on-location systems remotely to unlock doors, disable alarms, and reroute cameras.

she is zealous, methodical, strict, and exceedingly competent at her job, though her incredible passion for her work has slightly stagnated her social life. emily does not have much free time, and so her time spent away from the office is usually in solitude (by choice). she's a jeopardy nut, a thrift store and estate sale fanatic, and a meal delivery/takeout enthusiast (since she can't cook to save her life).

alekos is a fledgling dragon rider in the marble-adorned, glittering kingdom of perga. like his mother and grandfather before him, alekos rides the white dragon gesthamane — a dragon that begins in the form of a white stallion. when the proper words are uttered in the pergian tongue, the horse transforms into a snowy white dragon with tremendous wings. alekos is currently training with gesthamane and attempting to better his connection with her... trying and failing to establish the same strong bond his family members once had with her.

gesthamane wants nothing to do with alekos. she recognizes his stubborn personality and unwillingness to learn beyond his small world-view and narrow mindedness. because of that, the dragon does not trust him. eventually, as alekos grows and experiences the world beyond him, he will earn her trust and loyalty.

though alekos can be stubborn at times, his heart is in the right place, and he will one day earn gesthamane's approval and trust. he's playful, mischievous, and a huge risk taker.

in alekos's main verse, he is in a secret relationship with his lifelong best friend lysander artino, the prince of perga. otherwise, the two are best friends and practically inseparable.

arra is a human jedi knight who fought during the clone wars. on a voyage to the outer rim with her master, balius thum, their ship was critically damaged, causing it to spiral and crash into the nearest planet — maridun, home to a small band of peaceful lurmen refugees. while arra's master died in the crash, arra was the lone survivor. she was nursed back to health by the lurmen people and brought to their village. she lived with them for a time, unable to contact anyone outside of the planet, and soon came to terms with the fact that the jedi council probably believed she was dead — no one ever came to search for her. the lurmen taught her about their pacifistic nature and encouraged her to embrace the genuine nature of a jedi's calling — ensuring peace on all terms, no matter the cost.

arra remained on maridun until jedi masters aayla secura and anakin skywalker, along with padawan learner ahsoka tano and a handful of clone troopers, also made a crash-landing on the planet's surface. with their help, arra returned to coruscant and resumed her jedi training. due to her peaceful time spent with the lurmen people, arra is particularly passionate about passive resistance and nonviolence. she is fiercely protective of those who cannot fight for themselves and will bend over backwards to avoid bloodshed at all costs, which occasionally conflicts with her given missions and placement in the clone wars.

seth shawky is a world-renowned archaeologist and adventurer from boston, massachusetts. his parents are originally from egypt, but moved to boston right before shawky and his sister were born to pursue their careers in history and museum studies. because of his parents' positive influence, their pride in their heritage, and their love of history, shawky spent most of his childhood wandering museums and sitting in lecture halls with his parents. he fell in love with history, too, and finds immense value in the restoration, protection, and public display of ancient artifacts for all to see and learn from.

shawky is most known for locating the lost tomb of alexander the great, but has made other notable finds with the help of his friends (like buzzy cohen and miriam al-khatib). currently, shawky is searching for the ancient hall of records rumored to reside beneath the great sphinx of giza. despite friendly and professional warnings against hunting for this so-called myth, shawky is adamant that he will find this legendary hall of secrets and unearth the mysteries it hides.

shawky prefers to be addressed by his last name and dislikes any and all use of his first name, seth. he's terrified of camels, great at bartering, and constantly driven by an innate need to unlock the mysteries of the world. his goal is to see multitudes of historical artifacts rescued, preserved, and safely stored in museums for all to see, not hidden in private collections or looted by nefarious organizations.

buzzy cohen is a world-renowned archaeologist and harvard grad from boston, massachusetts. he is shawky's best friend and fellow adventurer. the two met while attending harvard and became inseparable; you will rarely see one without the other. buzzy is a resourceful traveler, an excellent puzzle-solver, and the more charismatic half of this history-loving duo. he played a pivotal part in uncovering the lost tomb of alexander the great, and now works alongside shawky to find the ancient hall of records beneath the sphinx.

family is everything to buzzy. he was raised by his mother and grandmother in boston and prides himself on solid family connections and celebrating his loved ones every step of the way. because of their encouragement, buzzy pursued his dreams; now he gives back to his family by treating them with gifts and dinners, taking them to big museum events, and all around uplifting the love he so enthusiastically received growing up.

when he's not out wandering the desert or digging for artifacts with shawky and miriam, his other best friend, buzzy is visiting escape rooms to try and beat their records, entering jigsaw puzzle competitions, and cooking new recipes in his tiny kitchen at home. he's nerdy, charming, passionate, and brilliant.

tiber septim is the hero god of mankind. they conquered all of tamriel when they were alive, allowing their dynasty of descendants to rule the third empire for centuries following their death. when they did, they are said to have ascended into godhood and became talos - a fact that remains contested by many. the white gold concordat, which ended the war between the third empire and the aldmeri dominion, contained terms that banned the worship of talos because of the uncertainty.

as for my interpretation - on this blog, tiber wanders skyrim during the stormcloak rebellion, pretends to be a peaceful traveler, and learns about the world they once ruled. they want to see the state of skyrim itself, get to know its inhabitants, and help anyone they can.

tiber may be known by four names:

tiber septim: the person before they ascended to godhood. the ruler, the first emperor of the septim empire. this is the name of the mortal.

talos: the name of the god you pray to. you visit the shrine of talos. this is what tiber became when they died. this is the name of the god.

hjalti early-beard: a false name tiber will use when roaming skyrim. this was a fake name they used when they were mortal, and they now use it again, pretending to be a casual adventurer in skyrim.

the only daughter of king kashekim nedakh, kidagakash (or "kida") is the princess of the lost city of atlantis. when she was a child, kida witnessed the great tsunami that destroyed most of her home. her mother was chosen as the heart of atlantis in order to protect the central city from the flood, and because of this, the city was sheltered from catastrophe and disappeared into the sea. kida has spent the last few thousand years living with her people in atlantis, tending to her city, and learning all that she can about the past to better understand what transpired the day she lost her mother.

kida is a competent warrior who always speaks her mind. her people and her city are her priority above all; she longs to see atlantis thrive like it did before the flood, and hopes to restore atlantis to its true greatness with time, passion, and effort. when she is joined by milo thatch, an explorer from the surface who chooses to stay, kida works alongside him to recover lost knowledge, save her people, and ensure generations to come can witness the beauty and greatness of atlantis.

din is a human mandalorian warrior who lives by a strict code. he was born on the planet aq vetina, but was orphaned after an attack and rescued by mandalorians who adopted him into their tribe. he has made a fearsome reputation for himself as a member of the bounty hunter's guild — which has become his means of earning money and providing for his tribe, who secretly operate on the planet nevarro. using his ship, the razor crest, din traverses the galaxy collecting bounties and dealing with any problems that come his way.

din will not show his face to anyone, as outlined in his mandalorian code. though he may go around this rule and remove it under the cover of total darkness, this event is rare, and only done with someone he truly trusts. otherwise, din is an enigmatic man of little words and battle-hardened actions. he is notorious. his reputation precedes him far across the galaxy.

this blog primarily situates interactions with din during a non-canon period of time where he continues to fulfill bounties and travel the galaxy, all while protecting the jedi youngling, grogu, he rescued from arvala-7.

garrus is a seven foot tall turian male with blue clan markings and a targeting visor over his left eye. once a member of c-sec's investigative division, he left to join shepard aboard the ssv normandy and assist in the hunt for saren arterius, a rogue turian spectre. once the normandy was destroyed, garrus left the citadel for omega, took on the pseudonym "archangel," and led a squad to combat omega's rampant, unchecked crime. he became one of the most dangerous and infamous vigilantes in omega's history, loved by the average citizens he saved, and despised by mercenaries and other crime-doers. he eventually rejoined commander shepard after a member of his squad betrayed him.

garrus is a skilled fighter, an experienced strategist, and impassioned seeker of justice. in his youth, he finds it difficult to sit back and let the bad guys get away with things — he sees a huge problem with red tape and restrictions preventing him from "getting revenge" or "seeking justice" for perceived wrongs done to other people. this belief carries into his time as archangel on omega, which remains rather lawless. he takes matters into his own hands, enacts justice the way he sees fit, and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. over time, once shepard rejoins his life, garrus may come around and be impacted by shepard's influence — either garrus will dig deeper into this ruthlessness, or he will soften, recognize his fall into more hazardous beliefs, and see the good in the world.

garrus does not speak a human/earth language, so communicating with him requires a translator.
