Was great to see lots of friends and family at our end of project exhibition which got a lot of complements for the quality and variety of work. Well done group. We will all miss our Tuesday afternoons together. Looking forward to future projects at Aip.

Working on canvases for the final exhibition. Two completed.

Working hard in the hot weather with breeze through the door. Started on our canvases today.
Drypoint printing with artist Jack Fawdry-Tatum. Also two new participants. Everyone enjoyed printing with a past machine.
Session today was with butterfly lady May Webber. We saw several different species including a small white, brown meadow a skipper and a daytime moth on the meadow areas in the park. Also the magnolia grandiflora was in full bloom, beautiful.
This weeks work seems to feature pinks and lime green. Next week we are looking at butterflies.
Our work displayed as part of the opening of West Burgess Park. Not put up by us (pin issue!!) But looking good in the sunshine.

Trip to Drawing Rooms to see Modern Nature - just around the corner from us. Some lively discussion. Great exhibition and group very interested. They even did some drawing in the library.

We did a dementia walk today as part of a larger project by Andrea Sinclair at Art in the Park. Looked at lots of plants with different shapes colours textures and smells. Took some more photos as reference for next session.
