I go by Plume , amateur photographer of birds and nature in general... but mostly birds.
I'm in Western Europe so that's where the birds you'll see come from. As much as I can, I try to identify the species, there still may be a few species I'm not sure about, if so, I say it in the posts.
A few random FAQ things, might edit over time if needed:
I have emptied my old birdwatching Twitter account, meaning Tumblr is now the only place you'll find those pics online (unless they've been reposted against my will). These pics are tagged #from twitter to tumblr.
Asks about birds and my photographs are welcome, I'll do my best to answer what I can. As the blog runs off a queue, it's possible it takes a few days before your ask is answered though. Asks will be tagged #ask, unless I create another tag more specific to this blog later. For usual not wildlife posts, I'll try to keep to #Plume's ramblings, which I've used a couple times ;
When you comment or reblog with comments, I do see it... sometimes I don't reply because I don't know how, but I'll be forever grateful to the people who take time to write something 🤗,
As a rule, I won't share posts or links. The goal of this blog is to be my photographs' gallery, with the occasional aforementioned blog related asks.
What you can do or not with my photographs:
You can use them as art references, credit is much appreciated ;
You can't repost my photographs and text ;
You can't use them for NFTs or generative AI (anyone interacting who is pro-NFT or so called "art" AI, it's a one way trip to the blocklist) ;
I don't do any merch, any print, and I don't expect it to happen in the foreseeable future. If you want to print a pic, as long as it stays personal use only, private and all and certainly not commercial, sure, go on. Best if you ask me first though. Haven't shared it yet but I have a Ko-Fi if you want to support this hobby.
I am currently NOT SELLING. Spam accounts asking to buy pictures will be blocked. Anyone asking for NFT or AI from my pictures will see their comments deleted and account blocked on sight.
