i know i don’t post on here anymore but I just wanted to recommend a body positive tv show that has an actual plus sized woman as the main character! the show its called Shrill and it stars Aidy Bryant (from snl). the show sheds a light on the true struggles of being plus sized. it also has gay and woc representation! the show is only available to stream on hulu. if you don’t have an account you can sign up for a free month trial! i really recommend this show to anyone who has body image issues/been treated differently bc of their size. i’d also love to discuss the show if you decide (or already have) to watch it

I’m the same as the last anon. I hate getting my picture taken and the worst part, my sisters a photographer and she loves using us as models and I’m just like 🙃🙃🙃 but I never heard about the whole “you wouldn’t recognize yourself if you saw yourself” like that’s kinda crazy to me lol like damn. Where did you hear that?! Or read that?!

i love shooting photography but i never let people take pictures of myself lol. i think i read that fact about not recognizing yourself somewhere online! so of course, it could be fake BUT it seems legit to me. if you think about it, all we see our reflections of ourselves...we have to look some what different then what we think we really look like. also, i found this interesting article i thought maybe you would want to read. it talks about how cameras can miss lead you!
