I’m so tired of people arguing.
I mean, yeah, I guess I still argue with people sometimes because I’m young. I know that’s not a valid excuse but I can’t learn everything in a day. I mean God didn’t create the world in just one day right? That’s also not a valid excuse but the thing is I have less experiences than you guys. And you guys are “adults” and adults should know their limits because their more experienced and know how to deal with, well, adult stuffs. Like accepting mistakes, making peace and paying taxes. And it’s also frustrating that some say “bata ka pa, hindi mo pa naiintindihan” well damn you, “matanda ka na, wala ka pang natutunan.”
What I’m trying to point out is that why can’t you just make peace, deal with it, do better and do it right? Why can’t some adults just accept the fact that in an argument there is good and bad, there is a winner and a loser?
Some adults build up walls and I don’t get it why they hide under shadows and rocks. I’m a teen, I’ve been in that phase and it sure did took me some time to get up and break those walls. I still build up walls sometimes because I’m not that experienced and I just want to be sure about my decisions first before I break them again. But you guys are already adults. You know what’s up. You know how to deal with it. You’re old and mature enough to know what to do. But you’ve been hiding there for yeaaars. Why build walls when you have the power to build more bridges and find the brightest place? A place where no walls were built and no shadows to hide on. (This is sort of metaphorical so yeah, not really no walls and no shadows.)
Why not make peace? Do we have to wait for someone to be in peace (to die) so you guys could unite? Do we have to sacrifice life to recreate your lives?
That is selfish. That is stupid. That is really fucking stupid.
This is not Romeo or Juliet! Its man and woman, sin and forgiveness and world and peace.
I know they’re just human just like me. But doing the same mistake twice is not a mistake anymore. It’s you and you’re conscience. And some adults need to really grow up and learn things. Some adults are like stupid high school students who are so desperate for popularity. They’re so crazy about making a point on something even if whatever they’re pointing out doesn’t matter (aka is stupid). These kinds of adults are making a fool of themselves. You’ve been living in this world for years and all you’ve ever done was argue and hide underneath that tall, hard walls of yours. Why do you cover up the sunshine? Why do you cover up the positivity?
I argue too. And sometimes I cut connections with people permanently. But that doesn’t mean I always have to say bad things and point out something dumb. For me, it takes time to learn what everybody has done including my actions and in the end, I always learn something. But why do these adults never give up on something not worth fighting for? Is there a prize on your actions? Is whatever you’re doing really worth it? How long will it take you to give up and accept the fact that whatever you’re holding on is a box of negativity and darkness? Before the time of your death, would you be proud of whatever you have done? Winning instead of mending the relationship you could’ve had with other people? Why make war when there’s nothing good to get from it? Why?
I think these kinds of adults are not really adults. They’re just old looking humans who act like high school students. They’re tall people with their heads down. They’re people who are so busy keeping their head above water that they barely know who they are, much less who anyone is. They’re people who are good at building walls instead of bridges. They’re humans. The dumber kind of humans.
I think ISIS and Trump are good examples. (because come on, Trump is literally gonna make a border so immigrants and Mexicans couldn’t get in. Dumb.)
