I think a lot of the gap between yanderes is just that there's two genres of enjoyment of a character who's delusionally and unhingedly into someone: "I want to feel in danger and get that adrenaline/pain rush while they take control" and "I want my own unhinged attack dog who has lost control of themselves bc of me" and while often at opposite ends, they are not mutually exclusive or bad.
Thinking about my fake Dolphin / Mermaid TF and how it's gimmick is seeing past the layers of people into their desires to tempt them (in line with being the Exhibitionist TF and Sirens luring people)
I think that mechanically, aside lore, it'd be funny if it raised opponents lust a ton to finish combat sooner.
By which I obvs means dealing psychological damage to charas like Whitney or Leighton by making the cum in their underwear in 2 turns-
Most people see him with the cape and don't recognise him, which is the point- He'd rather not be a famous hero. The stress! The expectations! It's worse than any fight with Kasyrra!
Loves money, precious gems, cool weapons, and chests so he can keep hoarding it all. Main motivation is helping folks, yes, but will take any detour if it means some shiny rewards.
The scorpion tail is from the Manticore TF, but his instead has a paralyzing poison. While he's a mage, the armor and Ashleander would have opponents believe he's a melee attacker, which lets him surprise attack with magic. On the other hand, anyone thinking a mage must be weak in close-range gets the stinger and the talons. In nature there's no honorable combat, only survival, and he changed his body to be a living weapon. He went so far as to have claws too, but after Kinu was born, decided to at least regain his soft hands so he could safely hold her.
Doesn't actually enjoy combat or killing, but he was always hopeless at white magic compared to black magic. If asked about being a hero, he thinks of himself more as a butcher. Shitty, but someone has to do it.
Backstory is that ▇▇ was a child prodigy labelled as a massive problem because while the magic was strong, it was also unstable and explosive. She was sent to live with a kind and wise healer hedge witch to learn to control it, and they were happy in their little corner of the forest. If at least only one person loved him, that was enough.
Other hedge witches visited sometimes, a circle of sorts, though ▇▇ was often sidelined or demeaned. They decided to use ▇▇ as a sacrificial catalyst for a ritual mean to grant them all more power.
It was another disaster brought by the hubris of mages. When looking for the disappeared witches, only two graves were found in the hedge witch's peaceful garden, the rest still missing.
Coincidentally, a record-less, traveling mage named Fresa began his journey around that time. Ending up in Hawkertone on that fateful day.

Since every animal TF has it's own special action/power, it also raises one negative stat with each use, and it's fun to think how everyone would lower it.
Fragola's Augury lets him see a bit of the future in exchange of raising Stress, the worst stat, and since he keeps using it, he needs to lower it quickly and constantly or end up passed out. The easiest is by smoking, but the usual vices also work (drinking, relaxing pills, sex, beating people up...)
Lamby's stat gains from sleeping around has his Control falter, which is why he loves organizing things and management games. When everything falls into place he feels back in control. Training with batons works when he's really freaked out. He usually avoids it spiking too badly.
Fichi tries to not use her power to look into the past, to avoid raising her Pain in the first place, but keeps painkillers and muscle relaxers just in case. Beauty routines and spa treatments tend to work more gradually but safely. The one who could unlock half the town's secrets if it wasn't physically painful to do so + she doesn't care + pay her
Cuya's Trauma is... not good! And he keeps using his power to look into people's inner desires to see who could be an ally or foe, so it keeps rising! Deals with it in a healthy way by going to the sea to swim with animals, or to the aquarium to spend the day, but when it's really bad he can age regress to when he was protected by Bailey in the child's ward.
Loupe is still figuring it out, but what gets raised is his Fatigue. It's a simple fix, just a good sleep session, but he has too much to do to stop and properly recover so it accumulates. Ends up falling asleep at random (safe) times, but it's pretty hard to wake up.
Lemonade doesn't really have a power aside being a plantperson and changing their body, so they also kill anyone, but they do eat the corpses to rejuvenate and keep their human form longer. Also its tasty.
Of course, for all of them, the one way to lower the negative stats to 0 in one go are the Blood Moon Sacrifices. It's fun for Fragola, affirming for Lamby, rejuvenating for Fichi, and therapeutic for Cuya.
