Hiatus Notice;;

Okay so, it’s probably no secret with a recent lack of IC activity and general ooc chatter, that I haven’t been feeling Stiles lately. Idk what it is, whether the sheer magnitude of Stiles blogs out there is getting to me (when it really shouldn’t be) or what, but I kinda feel trapped by my own muse? Like, that most of the people who do thread with me only do so for the canon character I play and I’d be completely invisible if not for my muse and FC. Truth be told, I also miss playing an Original Character. I did so for a very long time with Vincent, an OC for the TMI fandom and part of me wants to get back in touch with the magic that is portraying a character that is entirely of your own creation and hopefully, over time, making other people love him too. With this in mind and due to not being ready to give up Stiles rn, or knowing exactly what I want to do, I’m taking a two week hiatus from this blog (9th October - 23rd) by which time, hopefully, I’ll know what I want to do with my Stilinski boy. This also means a hiatus from group verses so I kinda understand if the break is too long and the mods of the verses I’m in wish to remove me from their groups :(. I’d miss them terribly, but all being well I’ll send in apps with my new muse. Which brings me to my final point! You can find me over here, should you wish to rp with me or chat ooc. So yup, come and love my new child down… Or don’t, the choice is entirely yours.

So when I switched blogs I never thought that so many people would keep supporting me despite the annoying change. I know I’ve been very inactive and whiny these past few weeks, but you guys still chose to follow me on my new blog and that means more to me than you’ll ever know. While 100+ is a HUGE change from 500+, I’m glad I switched blogs because I just feel way more comfortable here and less pressured. It sucks cos it’s slowly causing me to resent my muse :| I may try again and if it doesn’t work, I may just be done with role playing tbh. I just feel like I may need a change soon.

Does anyone else ever feel trapped in their own muse or? Like, I love Stiles. I adore playing Stiles. But sometimes I get an urge to make an oc again and fall back into writing someone who is entirely my own (the sheer amount of Stiles blogs out there is kinda off-putting for me as a writer even if I bring my own spin to him, ngl), but know that if I were to move somewhere else I’d lose all of my writing partners. I’ve tried other blogs since having Stiles and haven’t really been followed over there, so I’m starting to feel as if it’s Stiles or no-one. As if it’s here, or give up rping altogether and I just :| idk...
