[He spoke excitedly to the others]

Red Velvet looked up from where he was sitting at his desk writing a letter to a certain brown-haired cookie.
"Hm... well, I don't see why not? As long as there's proper nutrition included, of course!" his... acquaintance... had been very serious about the dangers of malnutrition. She kept giving him protein bars. Did she think he was too skinny..?
"Matcha? Will you be joining us?" the wolf hybrid turned to look at the small cookie sprawled on his bed. She thought for a moment, then nodded, rolling off of the mattress and onto the floor in a surprisingly elegant motion.
Matcha crept over to the other two, rubbing at her eyes. A thought occurred to Red Velvet, "Do you want to see if Lico or Butter Roll want to join us? If they're not too busy doing experiments, that is..."
[They nodded quickly thinking for a moment before speakjng]
“I hope Licorice can join..! He’s one of my bestest of friends..!”
[They grinned before tugging at Velvet to hurty along so he can go ask the others]
"Alright, alright--!" he chuckled, "I'm coming, I'm coming!"
Red Velvet made a grab at Matcha, successfully picking her up and transferring her to his back before he gestured for Poison Mushroom to lead the way to the underground lab.
[They scurried in the direction of the lab, hitting their face on a wall but getting up and continuing on towards the underground lab, leading velvet and matcha]
“It’s gonna be so much fun..!”
[They giggled happily]

Star jumps at the sound of the new cookie's voice, looking over its shoulder to see a purplish cookie. Huh. Someone that wasn't on her "needs therapy" list, for a change.
...Ah, right, right, they had asked a question.
"I'm- um- dah- Milky Way... conductor of the Sugarcloud Express! What, ah... what are ya doing in the World of Dreams?"
“Uh… dunno.. got lost..! Wanna be friends..? I like new friends..!”
[The mushroom smiled happily, looking at the conductor]
“Do you perhaps like shroomies..? If not.. that’s okay..!”
They cocked their head, gaze flicking between Poison Mushroom and the shroomies.
"I'unno..? I've never tried one, y'see. Are they tasty?"
“Very..! Don’t recommend if you don’t like seeing funny colors though..”
[They giggled a bit creepily but that was normal for the cookie]
“I really like shroomies..! Shroomies make the world go round.. and they’re yummy..!”
Ah, so they're hallucinogens.
They felt a small smirk grow on their face as they considered the cookie's offer. Aurora Candy would hate having to deal with a high conductor, and she would get the rest of the night off~!
Star might also get fired again, but it was a necessary sacrifice. For science and whatnot.
Milky Way sighs and dramatically holds out their hand to the purple cookie, "...Gimme ya best shot, stranger."
