M!A: Now Equius can shift at will between his troll form and his dragon form!

You were near your half destroyed Husktop, when the message pinged up. As you open it, you feel a wierdly familliar ringing in your head, as your body begins to change back, into it´s troll form. Exhausted, you drop to the ground, gladly, the spell put some shorts on you. 

As soon, as you were able to move, you jump up and run to, wherever Rosa was. “MOTHER!?” you call out. 

What you didn´t notice yet, was, that your dragon from was still visible on you, due to darkened skin and scales along your cheekbones, hands and feet.

He snuggled closer to her, just enjoying to be held. “So.. do you think, i could turn back into a Dragon?”

He looked up, his face lighting up with a big, wide grin. “That would be amazing… i actually liked my time as a Dragon… besides the not beign able to talk part.”

“It could be! I don’t know how, but it might be.” She rubbed his back gently, happy to be able to cuddle him again. “It happens sometimes. We could ask Azazel and Kurloz, they could teach you how they do it so you could try and test it. I do know they can also shift partially. and they keep little traits like these rough patches of skin you have…”

He looked at his hands for some more time, turning them, to watch the small scales shimmer in the weak light. “I... do you think, i could talk to them?” he looked up to her again.

He chuckled lowly and laid one of his paws on her back, patting her ad gentle as he could be. He then took the Stick between his teeth again and began to write. “RUdaff knows?”

She shook her head sadly. If only she could tell him… but she could barely even write. It was so frustrating!

he huffed deeply and gave her a gentle headbut. “i tell for you?” he wrote down and then looked over at her, his fin.. ears flicking.

He didn´t feel very cold, but still, he went under the blankets, as Rosa offered him. He curled up tightly against her, holding on to her shirt. “I think the transformation left some traces…” he lifted his hands, showing her the darker skin.

It took her a moment to realize the difference, and then her eyes widened and she held his hand to observe it closer. Which was followed by a very long look at his face, too. “This… is not usual. These happenings don’t usually leave trace…” she mused. “Are you feeling well?”

He smiled and closed his fist a little, the small scales shimmering very lightly. “I feel great, to be honest... although, i´ll miss flying.” He held on to her shirt again and curled up tightly. “Also, i still want to eat fish...” he snickered.

He was surprised by the lick, but only returned it, leaving a big, wet steak on rosas cheek. He then sat back and tilted his head, looking clearly confused. This was probably a similar magic or curse, that was on him. Mudbray meanwhile was prancing around the two, happy to be with another animal friend.

She couldn’t tell him what had happened, but gods did she want to. So what she did instead was nuzzle him and murr, and yip happily at Mudbray as a greeting.

He laid one wing over her, the other over his squealing Mudbray. He wondered, how to communicate with her. An idea left him rumbling lowly and he leaned over to find a stick, writing in the mud:“ you Okay?” Simple question.

Her eyes widened a little at that, of course! Writing! She read the question, with a little difficulty, and nodded; then she pawed at the words and looked up at Equius. The way she tilted her head indicated that she was returning the question; she wanted to know if he was fine too.

He nodded his head eagerly, closing his eyes slowly. He then leaned over again and erased his writing, replacing it with a "Also a curse?" Funnily enough, his handwriting did not look a lot better.

He murmured and pressed himself against her. The flight had left him shaking and shivering slightly, but he looked happy.

She shushed him gently and pet his head and neck, hoping to calm his trembling. “You did wonderfully, darling. I didn’t expect that you’d fly so well! What a surprise, huh?” She cooed, with a very sweet and proud voice.

He murmured some more and closed his eyes, relaxing a lot more. He really was surprised, that he could fly like this... but it was also kind of not. He just knew how to use his wings and tail to navigate.

Rosa, finally back to her troll form, was sleeping the confusion away in her room. Equius’ calls, though, woke her up, and she looked around with sleepy eyes. “Mmh?” Her voice sounded hoarse, from lack of use, and she was so tired that she barely noticed the scales on Equius as he barged in.

“Equius, darling” she mused, smiling softly. “Hello again.”

Grinning, he just dove in to hug Rosa. This was actually what he missed the most, the ability to hug people properly. "I'm back!" He chimed and gave her a little kiss on the cheek.

He was surprised by the lick, but only returned it, leaving a big, wet steak on rosas cheek. He then sat back and tilted his head, looking clearly confused. Roaring, equius shot trough the air. Every now and then a fireball would light up the sky. One thing he did, out of pure curiosity, was to shoot a fireball and fly directly towards it. The heated air gave him an updraft. Roaring again, he foldded his wings to his back and took a nosedive. Only shortly over the ground, did he open his wings again. But he was a little bit too late, landing on the forest ground.

The loud crash had Rosa running towards him at full speed before she even realized it, suddenly full of worry for her son. “Equius?” She called, loud and concerned, as she knelt down by his side. “Equius, are you okay?!”

Groaning and huffing, Equius got up and shook out his scales. He felt a bit woozy, but other than that, he was alright. Maybe he would be sore by tomorrow, but that was a problem for future him. He looked at Rosa and made a relaxed face, before leaning his head against her.

Rosa, still in her wolf shape, had been hiding near her house for a while now. She was afraid of showing up in the house, not wanting to scare her family, or startle them so much that they tried to attack her. After all, she had no idea of how barkfiends acted; what if she did something that they interpreted as a threat? But she missed them so much… With a soft whine, she resigned herself to staying in the edge of the forest. Perhaps she’d find a way to approach them. They would miss her soon…

Equius was still in his Dragon body, roaming the woods with his Mudbray. They were out for a few days now, and about to come hive, when they saw a wolf near the hive. The young Dragon let out a rumble, Waring to wolf to stay away from the hive. He wouldn’t attack, but he would be cautious

With an audible yelp, Rosa flinched so hard that she jumped back, scared. Then, though, she noticed who had made that sound- and without her noticing, her ears perked up and her tail wagged. Equius! She was so happy to see him!

He stared at the wolf for a while, not loosing his arched back, and his intensive stare. But as the wind picked up, waving a familiar scent into his direction, he suddenly relaxed and let out another rumble. This time a peaceful one.
