The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This reveals Mega Altaria, who is Dragon/Fairy with Pixilate and Mega Lopunny who is Normal/Fighting with Scrappy. It also confirms that when you change your Pikachu’s clothes for contests, it gets special moves. Pikachu Rock Star gets the move Comet Punch, Pikachu Ph. D. knows Electric Terrain, Pikachu Pop Star knows Draining Kiss, Pikachu Belle knows Icicle Crash and Pikachu Libre knows Flying Press

Mega Altaria? It’s so fluffy. I’m gonna love it and use always. Mega Dragon anything is my baby. But this is my fuzzy baby.
I was hoping they’d give Altaria a mega because it desperately needed one, Dragon Fairy also looks to be a pretty solid typing. I can also see the Pikachu Belle with Light Ball being somewhat competitive since Icicle Crash does a good job at countering its weaknesses. On the flip side I kind of wish they chose pokemon other than Salamance and Lopunny. Salamance is already a really strong pokemon and I would imagine that its mega would be used as often as Mega Garchomp, which is to say rarely if at all. As for Lopunny I’m just not a fan of the pokemon and it seems odd that a Gen V pokemon would be getting a mega in a Gen III remake. That said I do know some people who like using Lopunny so I’m sure they’ll be happy. Of course I’ll be waiting for the day with some poor guy puts a Mega Stone on a Klutz Lopunny on accident, lol.
I was hoping there would be a Dragon/Fairy introduced in Gen 7, but having it be a mega Altaria works too. I’ll definitely be using it now.
Yeah, I hadn’t really noticed the lack of mega Garchomp until you mentioned it. But mega Salamence might be used more because it’s a bit bulkier, if I’m not mistaken.
I wonder if Klutz will even effect mega stones? Afterall, Knock Off doesn’t knock the mega stone off (even if used before the Pokemon mega evolved) and I also don’t think it does the extra damage Knock Off does when the target has a held item. So, perhaps Klutz wouldn’t effect mega stones?
All true, but actually I think the main thing Mega Salamance has going for it is that having Aerilate as the ability will finally give it a Flying STAB that’s not Fly. Mega Stones and Item based abilities/moves are kind of interesting, because mega stones tend to get treated like regular items unless the move/ability in question has or would be transferred the stone. For example the ability Symbiosis will pass Charizardite Y to it’s partner as long as that partner isn’t a Charizard. I might have to see if there’s a way I can test this out in the battle maison using Skill Swap, since none of the current pokemon that have megas can have Klutz as an ability. or I could just wait until OR/AS comes out…nah.
That's a good point with the Salamence. Looking at what it can learn, it can actually learn some pretty decent normal type moves, too. Hm... I think I'll have fun with this thing~
I can't wait to see what you find. Honestly I hope Klutz does effect mega stones, just because it'll be funny. But, I doubt it will. Mega stones will probably be the exception to that ability.

Okay, that was really weird
I’m Wonder Trading away some Zubats with Infiltrator that I had lying around right now, and I’ve Wonder Traded with two dudes so far
The first guy is screaming “NAPPY!!” in his status, and the second is screaming “King NAPPY” in his status
And given that this is Wonder Trade, I’m pretty damn certain there’s no way the two kids could be related
Why the fuck are nappies so important to them I don’t understand
Nappy is a Poketuber (someone on YouTube who does Pokemon related stuff). I believe Nappy live streams as he participates in Wonder Trade Wednesday. Those people are his fans, who are hoping to Wonder Trade with him.
(Same thing happened to me a few Wednesdays ago, and I looked into it.)
I’m so sick of shitty North American events.
Whoopdee fucking doo.
Pinsir and Heracross withOUT any special moves. Yay. It’s been almost a year and I’d like to think a majority of us who actually tried own all the mega stones now.
Come on, guys. I know a crap ton of people bitch about this
Well, on the bright side Serebii just announced that the Pokeball pattern Vivillion will be available through mystery gift until August 12th.
Oh my, yes. You are so right. Let me love you forever, okay, Ludophile?
Edit: So, I just got mine. It’s NOT in a Cherish Ball, it is a fateful encounter, has the Classic Ribbon and the met location is “a Pokemon Center.”
lol, No problem. I actually found out about this not to long ago through a friend in the East Coast Pokemon League. I’ll probably download the gift today, but who knows when I’ll actually receive the Vivillon since I like to soft reset until I get a good nature or decent IVs. Chances are I’ll wait until I get one that has a timid and stop there. I actually still have to pick up my Fancy pattern Vivillon from the lady in the Pokemon center because I got greedy and tried to shoot for more than just a good nature, lol.
I'm the same way. I still haven't picked up half of last gen's events yet! (Though I plan to RNG abuse for those, after I learn how to.) That said, I just wanted to look at the Pokeball pattern to compare it to other Pokeball pattern event ones. I'll (eventually) soft restart for a good nature (and just hope for good IVs), but I'll probably just end up IV breeding one. But my native pattern is High Plains, which I find to be the worst looking one. :/

MY HOBBIES:
wonder trading until I get crap like luvdisks, honedges and bunnelbys, then releasing those from my PC. strangely cathartic.
or you could just play on the battle spot any time ever
I really need to rant about this

I completely agree 100%.
Because I’m still on an Eevee high.
You’d think a Pokemon AU would be super cute, but really it would be like the most heartbreaking nuzlocke ever.
My team for the Eevee Friendly, drawn as their namesakes!
This competition has been really fun! I’m a total newbie when it comes to competitive rotation battles, so to actually have nearly as many wins as losses is a success to me. Most of those wins were gained by the MVPs of the team: my Espeon Ashura and my Flareon Itama. I expected Itama to do well, but Ashura was a pleasant surprise! His Psyshock was probably the most used move throughout the competition. And besides the obvious uses for Flareon, Itama’s Wil-‘O-Wisp saved the team several times, such as cutting an enemy Leafeon’s attack and another time finishing off a Jolteon which had just KOed Itama.
Honorable mentions go to my Umbreon Indra and Sylveon Mito. With Indra’s defences, Weakness Policy worked amazingly on him, doing massive damage to enemy Sylveons who tried to Moonblast him (and said damage being healed next turn with Moonlight.) Snarl was also a big help with its guaranteed sp. attack drop. As for Mito, her Wish came in handy several times, and her overall bulk helped her stall out Burned/Poisoned opponents.
Eevee Friendly Day 3 End
Only did 9 battles. 7 wins, 2 losses I believe. I breached 1,600 so I decided not to do the last battle.
I was shooting to be there, so I am very happy and proud of my team. Dave (Flareon) and Kankri (Espeon) put in so much work. Dirk (Jolteon) and Eridan (shiny Vaporeon) saved my ass several times. Blue Moon, aka Karkat, (shiny Umbreon) put in some work and helped me out several times. Roxy (female Sylveon) didn’t do much of anything at all. I only brought her a few times, and when I did she really didn’t accomplish much.
I ended up facing two all shiny teams, and I destroyed both. I really, really hate shiny teams. Because they’re probably hacked. The full shiny team fighta were back to back, too.
Fought a Echoed Voice team. It was close, but I won. Dave the Flareon doing so much work FDJW-WWWW-WWW8-HBGP.
Wow…for some reason my connection dropped out 4 games in a row, counting them all as losses, before they could even get anywhere close to conclusive. 3 of those games dropped out before I could enter a single command. I have no clue, why my internet connection keeps acting like this because it’s...
Man, that sucks! I did notice that the errors and all that junk were more rampant tonight... So perhaps that's why it had trouble connecting with your internet. Who knows. But yeah, that really would beat the fun out of the competition. :/
Eevee Friendly Day 2
Ended today with an overall total of 11 wins 9 losses. Faced a really interesting team. It was a Trick Room team that had a Last Resort Sylveon. 8QHG-WWWW-WWW8-GEM4 Some poor guy, who had apparently just started (they had a score of 1,500), forfeited 2 turns in. He only had four Pokemon in the team preview: Vaporeon, Flareon, Eevee, and Sylveon. None of them had held items. I started off with my Jolteon, and OHKO'd his Eevee. His Vaporeon was sent out and he just forfeited. I really appreciate that he didn't just disconnect. Someone also had a shiny Vaporeon on their team, which was kind of funny. I also ended up getting into a HUGE stall war with this dude. It only ended because the clock reached 0. Unlike most people, stalling doesn't bother me at all, so I was happy to indulge him if he wanted to continue stalling. To summarize the stall war: it got to a point where I had Espeon and Vaporeon left, he has Umbreon. Umbreon continued to use Dark Pulse, as I used Waterfall. Here and there I healed Espeon to full health, as he did the same. Eventually it got to where he could only use Flash. Sadly for him my Vaporeon had Haze, and my Espeon has Magic Bounce. So, I just used random moves on Espeon as he used Flash. Until the timer ran out. The stalling lasted from turn 17 to 57 on the battle video. Hahahaha. He was thought I'd forfeit. He was SADLY mistaken.
honest to god: if you have a team of all shinies im sorry but i am going to assume they are hacked
