There was this time in 4th grade of high-school where we had an English assignment, as many of you know, my original language it's Spanish and my sister made me take extra English classes in an institute for 4 years (though at the time I still was in the 2nd year) so I had some type of advantage in the course, but I was still learning.
The thing is that I was being slow and couldn't finish my assignment on time so the teacher told me that I could hand it to him during break.
So in the break I went where he was and gave him my assignment, he put me an AD (The highest grade) and said "I knew you were gonna do it" and idk... That's a phrase that made me tear up when I left the room and still does 'til know
Its just like, I really REALLY want to make things right and make someone proud, be useful. I mean I knew I was gonna have a good grade, but the fact that he KNEW it too touched something wayy deep in my hearth
Sometimes I feel like the people around me have a lot of expectations on me and what I do so when I'm told to help with something or a project related to draw, animate, design, etc... I get very anxious and can't put my head on the task and I either end up doing it terribly or not good enough and makes me wonder if I'm actually meant for art or create something of my own in the future.
I really wanna be good enough when I finish my career and be able to not feel this anxiety when doing something that I love and that I'm supposed to be good at.
So yeah... Sryy for the venting, I'm just not feeling at my 100% rn and wanted to express this
