Use submission box to submit polls.
Tumblr does not allow anonymous submissions. If you would like your submission to be anonymous, include this clearly in the post.
Controversial polls are fine and welcome, as long as they are asked fairly in a way that the data is useful.
An exception to the previous: I do not want polls that are unneccessarily cruel about fans or creators. ('I don't like this' is a fine option, 'this person should kill themself' or "this is DISGUSTING and it's fans are awful" are not.)
I may reword questions if: they are leading; they are inflammatory; I think they miss a key option; they are confusing and can be made clearer.
Very rarely, a question may be rejected. If a question is rejected, I will try to reach out to you and give you a reason. I cannot do that if you submit anonymously.
Silly is allowed, as long as there may be actual insight gained.
