i made this poll bc these are the most occuring creatures in my home over the years, with bats being #1, and I'm so surprised at the bat rabies fear. Possible sure, but veryyyy unlikely.

I kinda prefer bats as they're much more obvious and won't pose a potential electrical threat by chewing wires. Anytime there's a mouse it takes days longer compared to the, at most, 20 minutes once seeing a bat.

So this happy little fellow has the distance I'm asking about helpfully marked in red. I'm super curious what the average adult measurement is for this area, since mine is about 6" and my partner's is an inch if that, and Tumblr is the biggest sample size I readily have access to.
