I am sure you are aware of the huge talent of the British designers Meadham Kirchhoff - a true highlight and draw to London Fashion Week. Their presence is missed each season, but their impact and influence can still be seen today, both on fashion and broader culture. The closing of their label...
After sadly being forced to close last year, and losing their entire archive, Meadham Kirchhoff are asking fans and friends of the label to help them save 40-55 pieces of the original archive to ensure their enormous legacy is not lost forever.
They plan to donate the archive, (which contains pieces spanning back 12 years of their presence in the fashion industry), to museums as opposed to private collectors, in an attempt for everyone to be able to enjoy what they created.
Personally, the influence Edward Meadham’s clothing has and had on my life is too great to sum up in a small tumblr text post, and i know that what the duo did had a similar effect on many people within the Tumblr community and beyond.
