Beware for CulpeoWolf/Seanna Downey/Micheala
So Iâve had a pretty bad experience with an artist I commissioned about six months ago. Â I feel like a beware is needed at this point.Â
So to start from the beginning, I had found her on Facebook and sent her a friend request. Â I commissioned her maybe 3 times and didnât have an issue with any of those commissions, she even streamed them for me and got them done very quickly. Â When I like an artist I tend to commission them multiple times. Â
The first commission I had issues with was a reference sheet for one of my characters. Â She said it would be $45, but I knew she was struggling with money, so I sent her $60 as an extra tip. Â

(You can also see in that screen shot, she told me to send as friends and family so it wouldnât charge ME a fee. Â Both she and I knew very well it was the other way around, but she didnât want to pay the fee or worry about me back charging. Â At this time I didnât mention anything about it, considering I had commissioned her a few times and things went smoothly. Unfortunately this did screw me over in the end.)
On this commission, she rushed it and made many careless errors. Â This isnât the main point of my beware but I also wanted to throw it in, that when she doesnât feel like doing something and you ask for updates, she has no shame in rushing it and making careless errors. Â I had messaged her a few times asking her if she would stream it, which she would reply âYes, Iâll do it tonightâ, and never did. Â So I âpesteredâ her too much, leading to her making careless errors in my ref sheet, as seen here.

Now the second commission I had issues with, one that is still ongoing, and she owes me either the art or money. Â I commissioned her back in December for a bust shot.

I was expecting this one to also be run smoothly, but that wasnât the case. Â I asked for updates occasionally, but never pestered her because she was having some medical trouble for a bit there and was even in the hospital. Â

Finally about a few weeks ago I decided to ask her for a refund, as I had seen her working on other personal art and taking more commissions and finishing them up quickly. Â (Will show all of these in screenshots as well shortly.) Â Her response to me asking for a refund was trying to guilt trip me, basically saying she was going to kill herself. Â I havenât messaged her again since, and I still havenât got a refund. Â She is also taking more commissions and finishing them with a quick turn around time, for people she likes, such as her âart-senpaiâ. Â

Here are the other screen shots I have, the first ones being that she begs for money constantly and asks for donations, but yet she buys commissions, adopts, even pay to use bases. Â (She also has MULTIPLE pets in the house, which worries me at times, because they do not have air conditioning in the house and can apparently barely afford to take care of themselves, let alone multiple animals.)

The next screen shot shows her taking more commissions and saying they will be finished in a few days. Â I have seen her finish multiples of these, and one as recently as yesterday for her âart senpaiâ, to which the customer replied, âWow you had such a fast turn around time!â Yeah, well, here I am six months later.

And the final screen shot I have to show is her bad behavior. Â She even admits to not following her queue in order of who paid first, but if the design is too âcomplexâ (aka if she likes you/your character enough to do it). Â She also says you can âbitch at her for a refund, but NEVER talk to me againâ, showing her unwillingness to take accountability for her actions and accept that she makes mistakes. Â
