Except for the fact that we elfae donât usually define oursâelves as male or female and certainly not men or women, but as elves or elfae of whatever sort first and foremost with our gender being a secondary, far secondary, consideration. If we bother to think about it at all.Also, we donât tend to delineate our society in strict male vs. female, man vs. woman terms either. Nor do we have clothes rules that differ for each gender. The main rule concerning fashion for we elfae is: wear whatever you wish to wear. Or, if we happen to be in Elfin or Faerie, donât wear anything at all. Itâs up to you.
For our elvish genders can vary greatly. We have males and females and a wide variety of other gender possibilities presented by the hermaphrodites. And, for most of us elfae folk, especially we elves, we have a general tendency to be androgynous. While men (mankind) tend to either force hermaphrodites to hide their nature from society or undergo surgery (usually when they are quite young) before they even have any choice in the matter (although, otherwise, men tend to denounce gender surgery), we elves accept everyone as how they are and how they wish to be.
