"You had time to call the police, why didn't you?"
“I thought I could handle the matter on my own. Perhaps I was wrong.”
“Perhaps? Is there any doubt about it?”
H O R R O R . P R O M P T S
“I just got back from the cemetery.”
“I swear I just saw someone… or something looking in my window.”
“I know I closed the damn closet door, but it keeps opening! Please tell me this is just some kind of joke you keep pulling.”
“What’s behind you in these pictures…?”
“Apparently like 20 years ago, some girl slaughtered her family in the basement.”
“I think there’s something about this house that you’re not telling me.”
“I keep hearing noises coming from the attic…”
“I know what I saw, and whatever is in the basement… it’s not human!”
“I didn’t have time to see what it was! I just got the hell out of there!”
“Whose grave were you bringing flowers to…?”
“The electricity guy said there was absolutely nothing wrong – and yet, the lights always flicker on at 2am. Explain that to me?”
“Why don’t you spend the night in that house ‘alone’, then try to convince me that you don’t believe in ghosts.”
“Y-you don’t understand, he didn’t have a face!”
“I had a dream that I killed you.”
“Ah, yes… the room you’re staying in. It’s a paranormal hot spot, apparently.”
“I keep hearing whispers at night… I-I can’t sleep!”
“There was something else in there with me, I’m not going back to that house.”
“Come on, it’s just an urban legend…”
“Are you trying to tell me I’ve been sleeping in a dead girl’s room!?”
“I keep getting the feeling that someone is following me.”
“Don’t panic… but I think there’s someone else in the house.”
“I can still feel her/his ghost, and it’s killing me…”
“There’s something growling in the basement… could you, uh… check it out for me?”
“Can you just… can you please check the closet?”
“P-please… put the knife down.”
“I bought this haunted ring on eBay!”
“No, no, no – run!”
“I didn’t forward one of those freaky chain letters and now I keep hearing the laughter of children coming from my hallways at night.”
“The dead are all around us…”
“She’s dead! She’s dead and yet I keep seeing her, everywhere!”
“There’s something breathing under the bed…”
“You can’t tell me you don’t believe in ghosts after all we’ve been through.”
“I saw something I wasn’t supposed to see, something… that wasn’t supposed to be here.”
“Maybe an exorcism is in order…?”
“I woke up, and it was j-just… staring at me.”
“He was there, then like a second later he literally vanished! I saw it happen!”
“I like the ghosts here… they keep me company.”
“You can’t honestly tell me you’re in love with a dead girl.”
“Wasn’t someone murdered in this house? Why are we here?”
“If dying means being with him/her, kill me. I’d be happier that way.”
“Ghosts aren’t real. You need help.”
“…what do you mean we didn’t talk last night? You came over, you were here.”
“You saw something you weren’t supposed to see. And now… now you know what has to be done.”
“I’m pretty sure my toaster’s haunted.”
“What’s wrong with you? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
“Don’t! Don’t you dare open that door!”
“I visited his/her grave for the first time today…”
“Something terrible happened here, didn’t it?”
“Wh-why do you have a knife…?”
"You’re all bloody, what happened!?”
“You know that book from The Evil Dead? Yeah, well… I’m pretty sure we found something pretty damn similar to it.”
“You’re bleeding…”
“How can you not see it…? I’m dead! I’ve been dead for years!”
“I’ve always wanted to see you choking on your own blood.”
“I’m sorry, I’m busy Friday with the… funeral and all.”
“I’ll never forget the sound of his screaming.”
“From the looks of it, the afterlife is a lot more fun than this.”
"Legend has it that you can still hear her crying for her lover in the dead of night.”
“I want to be dead, too.”
“Well don’t you look lovely, all covered in blood.”
"Whoa – wait! Please don’t go down there… let’s just get out of here, please?”
“You played with a Ouija board!?”
“Me and some friends played with a Ouija board the other night… and things have been a little strange since then.”
“There’s so much negative energy in this house… do you know if someone died here?”
“You’re always hanging out in cemeteries… and yeah, it’s kinda creepy.”
"They just don’t believe like they used to…”
“I will haunt you until the end of time.”

So sorry for the temporary lack of activity on this blog. I'm currently participating in the intro(duction)-week of my new university and it has kept me quite busy. Replies should come out after the 24th. Love, Jeyne & Grace
With some people, it just amazes me how kind they are when the world/universe has done nothing but attempt to tear them down and rip their soul apart. They’re so kind throughout everything they’ve been through that they didn’t deserve to go through. Things that they wouldn’t wish on anyone.

“—Hello there, my lady. Can I help you?”
the-prince-of-pyke:
“That’s because Sansa and your septa don’t know how to have fun, like I do.” He winked. The ironborn led her to his favorite inn and imminently called for a flagon of wine to be brought to the table. “Drink as much or as little as you like. Just keep in mind, I don’t know how your father would feel if I returned you to Winterfell drunk.” He chuckled.
Theon ordered a beef and bacon pie for himself and looked up at the lady expectantly. He wished he knew what she liked, but he had never paid that much attention. Now that he thought about it, he couldn’t recall ever seeing Jeyne actually eating. Could it be that he was more oblivious than he thought?
“There really is no graceful way to eat these.” He chuckled. “I hope my poor manners won’t offend you.”
Jeyne wasn't really planning on getting drunk either, not so much in fear of her father's reaction than that she didn't wish to embarrass herself in front of Theon. She had seen what wine and ale could do to some people, and since she had never had more than a cup of wine during one evening, she would be especially careful. Two or three cups might already do the trick for her.
Jeyne hesitantly ordered the same as Theon, she wasn't really sure what kind of food they served in places like this and she didn't want to draw attention to herself by asking. Beef and bacon pie wasn't really a dish though that her septa would agree on, not too ladylike, but Theon had said it himself: her septa didn't know how to fun like he did.
Jeyne rolled her eyes at that. "You'll be fine, my love, I'll let you know when my poor heart can't take it any longer and I'm about to faint." she commented sarcastically, with a playful undertone.
The pie was rather ungraceful to eat, although Jeyne made her best effort. In search of a napkin of some sort she found that these weren't mandatory in places like these, and she would have to resort to licking her fingers. Septa Mordane, and Sansa for that matter, would have a heart attack, but Jeyne thought it was all rather adventurous when she was over the initial shock.
"It's almost like a different world here, don't you think? And we're still so close to the castle!" Jeyne mentioned, she had always wanted to travel the Seven Kingdoms, explore new places and go on grand adventures, but she figured they would need permission now to even leave the immediate area of Winterfell. They would manage to persuade Lord Stark though eventually, and maybe they could see the world together.
“Am I messed up?” (for the lyric sentence starter, if that's okay :3)
“No, I don’t think so.”
“Why are you asking something like that?”
the-prince-of-pyke:
Theon spent the next few days preparing for their departure. He couldn’t act like he thought there was a chance his uncle would refuse them. Together they tripled their savings, thought they had to do without even more than they were. Neither of them went hungry, at least. They agreed that everything else could wait at least until they got Rodrik’s reply.
To keep himself from worrying about it, Theon threw himself into his work. He left the cottage early in the morning and wouldn’t return until the sun went down. Every day before he went home, he stopped to see if their was a raven for them. He tried not to be too discouraged when the answer was no.
Just when they were beginning to lose hope, Theon burst through the doors tightly grasping a letter in his trembling hands. The black seal of House Greyjoy was visible against the white paper.
“You open it.” Theon whispered. “I’m too nervous.”
Jeyne got up from her chair the moment Theon burst into the little cottage, her needlepoint falling to the floor. Although she was nervous herself, she was simply too curious not to open the letter right away, and she barely made it back to her seat before she had broken the seal and retrieved two thick pages.
She started reading, her eyes moving across the paper at top speed. It started out positive enough with Theon’s uncle expressing relief and joy to hear from his nephew, who among the ironborn was presumed dead. He was happy to welcome the both of them to Harlaw and into his home, and wished them a safe passage.
Then the letter got more serious, as Lord Rodrik explained the Iron Islands’ current situation, making Jeyne feel like this letter was not meant for her eyes at all. He spoke of the death of Lord Balon, and something called a Kingsmoot, which was unfamiliar to her. Jeyne gathered that after Lord Balon, or better, King Balon’s death another Uncle of Theon’s had taken his crown. Lord Rodrik hoped that with his nephew’s return to the Iron Islands this crown would befall on Theon with the help of one of these Kingsmoots.
Then she could feel her heart drop to the pit of her stomach, as Lord Rodrik advised Theon to take a Lady of the Iron Islands as his wife, and presumably Queen. A northern girl from an unknown house would only alienate him further and weaken his claim to the throne. Rodrik even proposed several ladies that might serve this duty.
He promised that he would find a suitable husband for Jeyne, one who was without children himself, and would be willing to take on a bastard if it meant finally having an heir. If they were truly unwilling to part, he proposed that Theon may take her as his salt wife, who were far from uncommon to have for ironborn nobility.
Jeyne tried to fake a smile, as she returned the letter to Theon. “Good news for the most part, he has missed you and can’t wait to see us, so I’ll get packing right away.” she mentioned, while tears welled up in her eyes. She left the room to pack her stuff, tears running down her cheeks freely now. She knew she shouldn’t have gotten her hopes up, they were certainly never going to get married now and she would either end up some old lord’s wife or a glorified concubine, yet she wanted Theon to be happy and he surely had a better shot at being that as a King than a peasant.

“Aye? How is that?” he asked, wrapping one strong arm around her. Girls like her were easy, and today was a good day- he had woken up without his usual splitting migraine, whether it was from the good fuck he had gotten the night prior, or the new medication he was on finally starting to work, he had the patience for once not to throw her down on the bed and rip her clothes off and just take what he wanted, though he felt certain from the way she tried not to make eye contact, from her scars and the way she flinched when she was touched certain ways, that she was well used to being taken whenever someone wanted her.
He pulled her closer, and his mouth was buried in her breasts, biting and licking and sucking, his fingers still curling inside of her, and he could feel her getting slick even if she didn’t want to.
Jeyne had only recently started working at the hospital, nursing wasn't exactly her dream career, she had majored in English Literature after all, but attending university meant debts and with today's job market, debts were all you were left with more oft than not. Mister Baelish had seemed understanding at first when she couldn't pay up, but soon he had her dancing, stripping, doing party favours. Ramsay had seemed a knight in shining armour when he took her away from that life and paid off her endless debt. If only she had known that he would throw her deeper into a life of deceit and abuse.
And now she found herself growing wet at the thought of another beast filling her until she couldn't take it anymore. Jeyne should have pushed him away, any sane girl would have, but instead she tangled her fingers in his hair pulling him closer to her chest. She moaned and bucked her hips once more, as he handled her breasts and ploughed his fingers in her. It was easy to lose herself in sex, during sex they were happy, at least most of the time.
"Master..." she found herself moaning, a shiver of pleasure running down her spine.
cubofcastamere:
The girl was clever, and that made her have at least some hope to see a life where she wasn’t the mountain’s favorite pet. She nodded seeing the brilliance of this plan. “Though how to get them to turn against each other might be a bit hard to do.” she stated already deep in thought about it. “Either way if my husband dies or get’s flayed the Lannisters will come down on the Bolton’s after their hold on the south is mostly ironclad, though I doubt they will spare you if that happens.”
"My lady, you underestimate me once more, I am Lady Arya of House Stark after all, and I am far more valuable than a bastard risen above his status." Jeyne mentioned, taking false pride in a false name. She was certain though that the Lannisters would spare her and marry her off to another before one could say "Winter is Coming", if they did get their hands on her, but the latter she was rather intent on avoiding.
"Besides I don't intend to be here when all hell breaks loose, we should find a way to escape during the tumult."
“Am I messed up?” (for the lyric sentence starter, if that's okay :3)
“No, I don’t think so.”
“Why are you asking something like that?”
the-prince-of-pyke:
Theon shook his head. It might’ve been easier for him to have her write the letter, but Theon felt like this was something he should do himself. It wasn’t easy for him to even hold a pen anymore, and writing a nightmare. What’s worse, Theon had to be very careful how he phrased his request. The ironborn were a sensitive people, prone to anger at any slight be it real or imagined. He’d heard that Rodrik was different, but Theon didn’t know the man well enough to know for sure.
Theon retreated to the other side of the room for a long time. He kept making mistakes and scratching things out, even crumpling his paper up and starting over completely at one point. Eventually, the boy leaped to his feet and hurried to seal it with black wax. He didn’t have his house seal anymore, so he wrote out his last name on the outside of the letter. Hopefully that would be enough to get his uncle’s attention.
The boy handed the letter to Jeyne with a flourish, grinning madly. He was proud of himself, as ridiculous as it sounded. In his hands he held their future. They were so close to freedom, real freedom, not just this hand-to-mouth existence they had now. “Start sketching out plans for your wedding dress, my lady.” He smiled warmly. “Right after you send that, if you would, please.”
Jeyne blushed at even the mentioning of a wedding dress, it was hard to envision herself in such a beautiful gown once more. Her wedding to Ramsay had scarred her for good, and taken all the magic and wonder out of such an union. As a girl she had often imagined what she would want her perfect wedding gown to look like, as had almost every other girl, common or highborn, now she felt the dress would look misplaced on her.
She would probably choose a rather simple looking gown, she didn't think the ironborn would praise lavishness either, but still the thought of looking pretty one more time warmed her and she couldn't help but imagine Theon's face as she did walk towards him clad in a gown made of beautiful ivory silk and myrish lace.
"I will," Jeyne promised eternally grateful, as she accepted the letter and held it close to her heart "I will find the swiftest bird so your uncle may hear of us as soon as possible."
She was about to leave the cottage, as she turned around one last time. Jeyne studied Theon's face carefully for a moment, before she gently caressed his cheek and pressed a kiss on his lips. Not the friendly, cordial kisses she had sparsely bestowed on him, but the way she imagined a bride-to-be would kiss her betrothed.
Jeyne was rather flustered when she broke the kiss, a strange and warm feeling taking hold of her, before she rushed out of the door with a smile on her lips. She did find a man who kept ravens for a living, since there were no maesters around, and paid him good coin for a bird that knew the way to Harlaw. She pressed a kiss on the parchment before attaching it to the carrier bird, and watched it fly off into the setting sun.
killedherscreamingwhelp:
“You’re a good fucking lay, what else do ye need to know about someone?” he asked, and his lip twitched almost into a smile with how she responded to him without even meaning to. “Jeyne. What do you do for a living, Jeyne?” his fingers hooked inside of her, pressing deep into her cunt, curling up toward her belly button. Two fingers was enough to fill her as well as most men could.
Her answer stuck in her throat when a wave of pleasure washed over her, as she felt his fingers move inside of her, filling her tightness perfectly. Jeyne found herself bucking her hips, pressing up against him, as her erect nipples brushed against the thin fabric of the hastily put on dress.
“I work night shifts at the hospital, I’m training to be a nurse, oh fu-…” Jeyne tried to answer, but the sensual sensation filling her was too distracting to keep her head clear. She knew she had to get out of here, but her body wanted to get out of this dress instead.

“—Hello there, my lady. Can I help you?”
the-prince-of-pyke:
Theon pulled her along, sometimes darting a few feet ahead only to double back and retake her hand. He was in a spectacularly good mood, humming quietly as they walked through the darkened halls. He took her out the side way, an exit rarely used except for the occasional servant. It was unlikely anyone would notice them leaving, but even so Theon had learned to be quick about it.
The ironborn was well known in the winter town, for that was where he spent most of his free time. Anything to get out of the somewhat oppressive walls of Winterfell. “…Are you hungry?” He had enough coin on him to show her a good time, but of course the things he’d enjoy and the things Jeyne might enjoy were likely very different.
Jeyne tried not to giggle too loudly at Theon's enthusiasm, they were supposed to stay hidden of course, but it was difficult for the enamoured girl. He lead her through parts of the castle she had never explored before, not even with Sansa, and she marvelled at the labyrinth of dark halls. Eventually she found herself in front of an exit she had never used before, nor had any memory of, and followed him excitedly. Jeyne couldn't help but feel like this was all a big game anyway.
Ladies are never hungry, Jeyne remembered her septa teaching her, but she told Theon she was instead. not wanting to spoil the fun or hide that she was in fact rather peckish.
"I'm really glad we came here," she told him smiling, as she laced their fingers together. "I've only been to winter town a few times, with Sansa and Septa Mordane that is, but I never got to experience it properly."
killedherscreamingwhelp:
He tugged her back into his bed. “That wasn’t what you were beggin’ for last night. You were beggin’ to get fucked till you couldn’t think anymore.” he cupped her chin in one massive hand. “As if the drinks you had were helpin’ you think any.” Suddenly his hand was gone from her face and his fingers were between her thighs. “Jeyne, that was your name wasn’t it? Or was it Arya?” he asked. “You were actin’ real weird about your name last night.”
Jeyne gasped at his sudden movement, finding herself closer to him than she had any intention of ever being again. A blush crept up her neck at his next words, and she averted her eyes in shame. The memories were flooding back to her, although they seemed to be half-cloaked by fog. The break-up, an unfamiliar feeling of being free and lost at the same time, a longing to be touched, a longing to forget, a longing to please, and a longing to be told what to do, because frankly she had forgotten how to think for herself.
Another gasp escaped her trembling lips, as he moved his fingers in-between her thighs, but it came out sounding more like a moan instead. Jeyne could feel herself tense up at the gesture at first, but then her body betrayed her, as she found herself inching just a bit closer, her arms sneaking around his broad neck.
"It's Jeyne," it rhymes with pain "it always has been, but we shouldn't do this, you don't really care about me anyway."
cubofcastamere:
“I don’t like him, but if he was to meet unfortunate fate, the golden lions will suspect it was because of me.” She stated with a sigh. The lannisters would kill me and finish up what the had started years ago.“
She knew the girl had stated to think this lion was afraid of an overgrown mutt, but it was the golden lions she feared the most.
"I'm wounded, my lady, that you do not think me capable of coming up with a better scheme. I know every song that has ever been sung, every story that has ever been told, about vile creatures like my husband and yours, and do you know what I have learned? Men like that do not win, and more oft than not they are their own undoing." Jeyne explained feverishly, Theon had already refused to help her and she knew the Lady of Castamere was her last chance at freedom.
She had come up with the scheme all by herself, thinking herself oh so clever, and she was not going to let this woman turn her down because she feared the Lannisters. Did she not realize they would soon be dead anyway, if they did not act fast?
"Let them end each other, they are both overconfident and overeager to fight. I'd like to think we are at least smart enough to play them out against each other. If your husband kills mine, Lord Bolton will surely flay him alive, although he'd be grateful in truth. If somehow Ramsay gets the better of Lord Clegane, I have a feeling the Lannisters would be less than pleased, your visit serves as an inspection of the Boltons' loyalty after all."
"⊗"
“—Hello there, my lady. Can I help you?”
he-prince-of-pyke:
Theon calmed himself by running his fingers through Jeyne’s hair, twisting strands of it between his fingers. “…I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to get upset.” He murmured. “Its not your fault though, really. I’m alright.”
Theon took her gently by the hand and tugged her along after him. “There’s no use dwelling on things we can’t control.” He said definitively, grinning back at her. “So for now, let me show you how I sneak out of the castle, and let’s go have a good time.” There wasn’t much to do in the sleepy winter town, but Theon thought she would enjoy going for a good meat pie and a little bit of people watching.
“I am happy, Jeyne. Let me prove it to you.” He managed a laugh.
Jeyne did like the sound of that, and a smile spread across her face. She was excited to see how exactly Theon did sneak out of Winterfell, and what kind of mischievous he was up to whenever he did. She knew however that he would have to refrain from some activities now she was with him, somehow this notion made her giggle.
"I can't wait, love, it'll be like our own little adventure!" she beamed giddily, taking Theon's hand in hers so he could lead the way. There was something special about spending time together in public like a couple, even if it wasn't inside of the walls of Winterfell yet.
