We spent a couple of nights at Caterpillar getting our beloved home’s oil changed. They replaced the belt and air filter too. The guy who did the work told us what a good engine our CAT-10 is. He said it’s a nearly 1 million mile machine. That’s a great reassurance, even though we know things can go wrong at any time. While they were changing the oil, they discovered that we’d lost air in one of the rear inside tires, and it needed to be repaired immediately. Yesterday we went on a monster truck ride through a citrus farm and ranch with one of my favorite humans, @wildwes_smokedfusion and his family. I taught Wesley when he was in grades 4&5 and am so grateful he keeps in touch with me. Happy pi day! We celebrated with pizza and key lime pie. It’s been more than a year since we visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We certainly don’t go to the parks as often as we did before COVID-19, and AK closes earlier than the others. I’m barely off work in time most days to go before closing. I really wanted to do something joyful today instead of focusing on sorrow about (my birth mom) Debbie’s death a year ago. So I took the day off to go on an African safari, escape Everest’s yeti, and ride a banshee in Pandora. It was a good day. Everyday can’t be perfect. Yesterday, we had our coach washed and waxed. There was a mishap of sorts that we discovered this morning had removed the tint in spots and streaks on several windows, this being the worst. The company owner came by and seems to be a solid human who will work to make things right. I know it’ll all be ok, but it really made me sad and unproductive most of the day.
