coord for a dim sum date with my beloved partner! inspiration came from the wonderful 香水布甸 on rednote. details + more under the cut.

the only short sleeve blouses I own are all black, so making one out of a long sleeved blouse by dragging the sleeves up was my only option. I think the end result is actually quite charming! this outing was my melissa x vivienne westwood rocking horse shoes' first excursion outside, as well as my first time wearing any sort of platform outside of the house (!). the tie from the Milky Rail Train blouse acts as a great centrepiece here, but I'm also really pleased with the effect the stripe-to-chevron socks have with the RHS.

香水布甸's coords all have a wonderful, old street snap feel to them, and I tried to emulate the simplicity of that here. I was really enamoured with this punk coord from a trip to osaka and wanted to channel some of its energy. I don't know if I succeeded in channelling it, but I know that I succeeded in making a coordinate that I'm very happy with thanks to its inspiration!

coord for hyper japan 2026! a summer heat + indoor con friendly outfit was difficult for me to build, as my coords usually rely on layering a vest or jacket on top of a blouse. but thanks to some GLB browsing, I found some inspiration to put together something that worked! coord details + more under the cut.

only went on Sunday. I'm not the type that can typically handle multiple days at big events or conventions like that. I think that deciding to go on a Sunday knowing that I had work the day after was brave enough lol.

inspiration for this coord came from GLB #41 page 67, discovered as I clicked through lolitahistory's gallery searching for something that wouldn't kill me dead beneath layers in the UK summer's humid heat. I'm a very, very, very big fan of the shape variation that the capelet brings to this, and I'm excited to both add more capelets to my wardrobe and incorporate them more into coords for higher temperatures.

coord for a cafe meet hosted by carolmiku. she was incredibly lovely and everyone that attended was wonderful to chat to. the Japanese cafe we went to had a nice range of drinks to choose from, including a lot of matcha, and (surprisingly) vegan croissants. I tried the mango matcha latte. check out pic 5 to see my darling's beautiful lyrical bunny in her natural habitat.

it was 0 degrees out that day. we had to rush out of the cafe to take advantage of the last few minutes of sunlight for pictures. you could feel it get colder as the sun ran away over the horizon. thank god for base layers.

inspiration for the hat + hair chain/lariat combo comes from the lovely SHANA16yu/hal16shana. someone shared one of their coords and I was immediately smitten with the idea. I'd like to get a wig with bangs to try out the full effect they manage to give eventually.
