✨ coloring process!! (kinda) ✨

okay so im not gonna lie i do not have a strict process for my coloring methods, and i also have the absolute worst memory, not even the procreate replay feature could save me (so the end result here is nottt exactly the same as the one i posted, but pretty close, and i actually like it more because i love rainbows mwuah)

but heres the idea

✨ so step one, ive got both my lineart and base colors merged onto one layer (including the shading!!)

✨step two, i duplicate the layer, and on the upper one of the two i apply this evil fucked up rainbow seizure of a color gradient (im not quite sure how this works on softwares other than procreate i am super duper sorry)

step three, clip mask that gradient layer to the unedited one below it, then lower its opacity (i moved it to around 40%)

✨ step four and final!! duplicate that grafient layer, set it to “Lighten,” gaussian blur it juuussst a smidge for that little glow effect, and raise that opacity to around 80%!!
