My therapist has told me for years how very different I am from most people he treats because most people can’t handle being alone while I don’t mind it at all. I don’t allow it to hold me back from doing things I want to do, including traveling the world and getting out and about.

Just talking with my Peace Corps friends still (yes we still have our own WhatsApp group texts despite being out of Ghana for almost 3 years) about how we should live a life of no regrets and don’t cut people out because you never know what’s going on inside them...so I found this quote to be a more concise way of saying that: You can’t let your heart go bad like that, Luke sour milk. There’s always the chance you’ll want to use it later.”
