One day I realized I needed [more] art for my walls. Being that I'm a graphic designer, I decided I should try to make my own. So here goes ...

Here is another side project. This presentation was for a friend who had to present 5 slides in under 5 minutes.  He wanted the slides to only have illustrations on them. The inspirations for the illustrations came from Keith Haring.

This is a recent project. A friend asked for some custom pieces for their nursery. So of course, I wanted to help out. Baby elephant art is so darn cute!

Poster #30!!! I made it. Towards the end of this challenge, one a day didn’t quite work out because being an adult is a time suck. But at least I made it to 30. Woot.

Poster #28. This poster has taken way too long for me to complete – about a week. I had some Illustrator issues with all the circles. My next poster feat should be a poster a week, where I all the posters that I didn’t make in the last month because they are more time consuming.

Another non-poster project from this week. I was talked into competing in Adobe’s Creative Jam in Indy this week. It was pretty stressful, and I probably will never do 3-hour design competition ever again. But I love this pink balloon dog I made.

Poster #25. SHUT YOUR MOUTH. I can’t believe I’m on 25. I would probably be closer to 30 if I didn’t have a 4-days without my computer over Labor Day weekend. But alas! Only 5 more to go!!!

Poster #22. What’s becoming the most stressful part of this project is figuring out what to make next. The inspiration for these posters come from anywhere. Tonight, Paul mentioned putting a giraffe on a tandem – to go with the posters I made a week or so ago. And that’s how this idea was sparked. Other times, I have to go in search of inspiration, which gets difficult.
