Do you ever wonder if the reflection of you in a mirror is actually just you from another dimension or time line and that your mirror is a portal to the place but you don’t know how to get there yet because you have unlocked the secret?
That’s a good question. I did used to think that a lot I always wanted to escape through a mirror but never found the answers to get through.
Starter for @the-flower-hardbroom
Hecate was sitting at her desk in her chambers with some candles flickering and low lamp for some light, was working late on some last minute potion papers. Morgana was sat on her lap purring while she was working, she was almost done when their was a knock at the door, she sighed and put the fountain pen down and looked towards the door.
“ who is it?, it is getting quite late. “
Lily opens the door a little and peeks her head in to look at her mother,she seemed to be a little shorter then usual and looked younger. She finally stepped in to revel that she was back to her three year old self do to her having trouble doing a spell. “Momma!” The little witch squeaked before trying to climb up on the bed.
Hecate looks around the room hesitantly and then notice the little witch and looks shocked and goes over to her and picks her up gently and places her on the bed and sits down and frowns.
“ what happened? Are you okay?... “
Lily looks at her mother and opens her mouth to speak about what had happened but she gets distracted by Morgana who was laying on the bed looking at her. “Kitty!” She gasped before she crawled over to the fluffy black cat,she had the mind set of a three year old and probably wouldn’t remember what had happened for long.
Smiles fondly and looks at them remembering them together when they were little but looks worried and picks her up.
“ Lily, you need to tell me what happened before you forget, it’s dangerous. “
“Ummmmm,I think it was a spell.” She says while trying to think of what had happened but it was already leaving her head now and soon forgot all about it. “But I don’t know anymore.” She said and tries to get out of her mothers arms to go back to Morgana.
Holds her gently but firmly so she can’t wriggle free
“ a spell? What type of spell? What book? And baby you have to remember this is important! Please “
“Blue with a pretty black gem on it.” She said while looking up at her,she could only remember a little bit of the book but she was trying. “And it was big and it was in the restricted area,on the floor still I think.”
Picks her up gently and carries her to the restricted section she see the open book and looks at it
“ this is the book, I’ll change you back. “
Looks at the book and starts to read the spell and watches as it takes effect and she goes badk to her full height and age
“MOM!” Lily yelled before trying to grab the book from her so she could do the spell again. “This is not what I wanted,I wanted to be little again.” She said while still trying to get the spell book.
“ Lily it is dangerous! Why do you want to be little again “ holds the book up away deom her “ I think I should keep this book “
