Roxanne didn’t quite know how to explain why she couldn’t take part in her club without outing herself out to both Lily and herself. She had been keeping these feelings on a down low and she really didn’t want to admit to them in fear of losing a friend which was far more important to her. Roxanne cleared her throat, she nodded and shrugged one shoulder to let Lily know that she was right on that. Roxanne was very protective of the younger ones in Hogwarts. A smile threatened to slip at that but resulted being a laugh, “Really? You gotta give her credit though.” She teased but then cleared her throat. Roxanne missed her too, it seemed like they rarely saw each other anymore. “Alright– alright. You’ve got a good argument here. If I were to say.. join, what would I have to do?”
lily let out an audible squeak, only barely managing to keep it from turning into a squeal, and gave an involuntary little hop of excitement, throwing herself around her cousin in the sort of hug an overzealous octopus might think was appropriate to the occasion.
