I have no idea why I am awake at 5:30 am. I should honestly be sleeping and taking advantage of not having to be awake early for various things. But! I believe it is my turn on every one of the owed posts.

I have like one week left of cookie season, which every year for close to 3 months kind of takes over because I am a Girl Scout Leader, and apparently the Council really likes me to be involved in way too much crap.

Anyway, no more about that, because I am at the end and really need a mental break from staring at cases and shipping trucks full of cookies. So with that said I will probably be back around soonish? Yeah. Since I have no more shoots, girl scout duties that take over every waking moment, no need to play surgery recovery nurse and a few other things until --- God I hope May? Maybe June?? Who knows.

Anyway I know I owe at the very least:

Soft nervous laughter bubbled up from the girl as she was scolded and she rubbed the back of her head. She could almost hear her brother in Ryuken’s tone of voice. Reminding her to get her heads out of the clouds when she wasn’t paying attention to the world around her. She was quick to try silencing herself, she knew it was just a response to the embarrassing situation she put herself into.

When his question finally came around she found herself stealing a glance back to the shop window then back to the older man standing near by. Was it late? Quickly her eyes moved to the fading skyline of the city as darkness started to over take it. The street lamps in the distance were starting to flicker. --- Just how long was she admiring that mixer?

Orihime’s eyebrows furrowed as she tried to place an exact time to how long she had been gawking but honestly she couldn’t really tell him. Finally her shoulders rose and fell in a shrug.

“I usually am home by now I guess, but I had errands I needed to run... but it seems I got sidetracked.” Another bout of nervous laughter came as she looked to the ground and to the side. “Ah well, that’s fine though! I’m not that far from home. I can always run them tomorrow morning, since I don’t have to wake up early for work.”

That of course was a blessing, if she had work she would already be up past her bed time. She was after all having to get there hours before opening to help start the baking process. However, Orihime loved it plus she got to learn how to make a ton of new things that she hoped to show off some day to Uryuu at home. Maybe he would be more apt to eat her food if he saw what she put in it!

“Err.. I mean, yes I guess I should be on my way home then..” She gave one last look to the mixer and nodded to herself, “At least this wasn’t a total loss of a trip out of the home today.. I was able to give myself a goal to work towards. Extra self motivation is always welcomed encouragement in life.”
