Coming from someone who’s watched The Supergrass not once, not twice but about well over five times with two of said times being in slo-mo.. It’s good. But it would’ve been GREAT if Harvey and Lesley didn’t end up together again in the end.
Harvey’s writing generally is so intriguing to me and it’s brilliantly done, I see some bits and pieces of him in myself, but because he is the way he is (an angry, miserable git) it would’ve been nice to have seen him find happiness in some other way.
If they hadn’t gotten back together and he’d still ended up happier at the end, it would’ve really highlighted how you can’t always get what you want yet you can still always find happiness or hope in some way shape or form, and I feel like that would’ve been a lot more powerful.
