❝ — BEBE’S RELATIONSHIPS ;
Cece Proud — Fraternal Twin Sister — Bebe and Cece shared a womb together, so of course they’re closer than the average set of siblings. However, Bebe has grown envious of his sister since it seems like she has her life in order, which is the opposite of his own. Although he loves her and considers her his confidant, he has distanced himself from her in order to keep her away from the illegal affairs that could tarnish their family’s name forever.
Penny Proud — Older Sister — Bebe and Penny are close as well, but their age in addition to personality differences cause them to clash frequently. Penny takes on a maternal role that Bebe didn’t quite ask for, which steers him away from her guidance as he now feels that her advice is useless. The parts of his life that he has left out of her knowledge is far more than she can deal with, so to keep her mind at peace, their relationship stands at an “as-needed” basis.
And every day, what I try not to do is let my pride get between me and you..
Bebe stared down at his iPhone while sitting in the chair at his desk in the corner of his dormitory suite, rereading the text message thread that happened to be the last exchange between him and someone he used to consider a close friend — Tabasco. With his phone connected to his beats pill by bluetooth, the low sound of a shuffle of his downloaded music only intensified his thoughts as he struggled to come up with the words that would make up an apology.
Fuckin' you made me proud of me, 'cause I know that you doubted me. Even told me I would never get with ya', told me I could never get with ya'. But this pride in me wouldn't let you slide by me...
Sometimes he wished he never blurred the lines of the friendship they once shared, but it was too late to take it back. No matter what happened between them, he never counted on her being done with him forever. Taking a step beyond their friendship happened to be an agreement amongst the two — a special moment that happened to be the memory of being each other's first. Like Tabasco, Bebe didn't expect their friendship to blossom into what felt like a relationship without having an official title.
Growing up, he was always told that sex only complicated things — in this case, that couldn't have been anything closer to the truth. Feelings blossomed from the exchange of bodies, but the silent expression of those emotions happened to stand in the way of the hurt that would come from Bebe's bad decisions. A decision he wished he could take back, since it happened to hurt another person involved — Dijonay.
Shoulda' never came 'round. You let me in and I let you down. I was wrong 'cause I fucked up the game baby...
Bebe's fingers seemed to lose their sense of touch as he sat there, staring at a dimming phone screen from the inactivity of him being unable to find the words to text. He recalled Tabasco's words, "I said one person. One person, I did not want you to sleep with on this campus. Every other pussy was up for grabs and you chose that person," and his minded clouded with the image of the pain in her eyes — the pain he caused.
He broke a promise, which no matter how well he tried to explain his actions, wouldn't matter to her. In her eyes, Bebe had crossed the line and had relations with her sister — although true, the idea alone seemed to hold so much malice and that was something he tried desperately to clear. To hear Tabasco tell him that he didn't care about her feelings when he decided to break the promise they made hurt him. However, he was in no position to stop her from hurting as well as demand they remain friends.
Bebe didn't blame Tabasco for wanting to end their friendship. The person that was her confidant, best friend, and first love had broken her into pieces by having sex with her sister. In her eyes, he was a monster that drove a wedge between sisterhood by having them fight over a man who they probably both felt didn't care about their feelings. Although untrue, how could he explain that he was caught between two women while emotions were running high from the reveal that he had been pursuing them both?
My pride was the cause of it all. I apologize for the flaws in it all, wrongs in it all...
He apologized repeatedly, to the both of them. He didn't have anything to show for it as his friendship of over 15 years had come to an abrupt end because of a lousy decision. The decision to have sex with Dijonay was selfish and he could be a man and admit that, but that didn't stop him from gaining access to her body knowing that he had already gained access to her younger sister's.
With Tabasco, the dynamic was something comfortable — they grew up together, did everything with each other and for each other. They matured with one another, and was apart of every change to their personalities that made them the people they were currently. With Dijonay, he was able to have something fresh — she saw him as the man he had become, blindingly leaving the image of the young boy she once knew behind to develop feelings for.
Setting the phone down on the desk, Bebe placed his head in his hands as he recalled the damage he had done to Dijonay as well. Their last encounter ended on a very bad note, which he felt that an apology couldn't fix. Telling her that he wouldn't give a fuck if she died tomorrow was the cruelest thing he thought of at the time and since he was angry, he said it to hurt her feelings like she was attempting to hurt his.
"Us messing around was a mistake. Congratulations Bebe, you played me. They were right." Those were the words she said to him, the ones that were the farthest thing from the truth. It wasn't in his intentions to play Dijonay, but it came off that way because of what went down with Tabasco as well. He was trapped between two women — that so happened to be sisters — and it wasn't a good feeling. He couldn't win no matter how hard he tried to make the best of both situations. No alternative he came up with would've led to his outcome being any different — life without Dijonay and Tabasco.
I shouldn't make excuses now, 'cause I know that it's useless now. You know what the truth is now, you swear you know how I do shit now.
Bebe wouldn't be surprised if the two warned other females about him. They were able to label him a womanizer, and he could try to defend himself until he was blue in the face but none of that wouldn't change the facts. Nobody would view him as a good guy that had feelings for both girls. Nobody would view him as a young man scared to choose between the two even when the ultimatum presented itself. Everybody would blame him for being the cause of two sisters never speaking to each other again.
To people who didn't know him, he would be a "dog" or what they would say "ain't shit." In reality, he was misunderstood — Tabasco was the person who helped mold him into who he was, while Dijonay helped him figure out who he is a man. Both girls deserved happiness, with somebody who wasn't going to break their hearts and have them beefing with one another for the sake of one man.
Pulling his hands from his face, one single tear dropped before he wiped it. He shouldn't be the one in such pain when he wrecked the lives of two women he cared about, but he was. The people he ran to talk to when he had problems were no longer in his life, and that forced him to find someone else who would put up with him without judging him for his terrible mistakes. Bebe picked up his phone and thumbed the passcode into the lock screen, exiting out of the text message thread between him and his ex-best friend.
He dialed someone else's number, tapping the large green call button before he lifted the phone to his ear. It rung a few times before the woman's sweet voice filled his ears. "Can you meet me somewhere? I really need to talk to someone.."
Once the security guard pulled Bebe off of Cartman, he spit the blood that filled his mouth on the floor as he was being escorted out of the cafe. Snatching away from the guard, he chuckled as he used the back of his hand to wipe the blood from his mouth. "This was a great event! Keep on bidding! I'll see y'all later!" He hollered before finally making his way out of the cafe to leave.
Bebe's eyes scanned over the cafe before they landed on Cartman, resulting in a chuckle to leave his lips. For someone who didn't do that talking, he was very confused on the small, meaningless speech he gave before a fist flew towards him. Before he could respond to the blow sent to his mouth, another one was sent to his nose. Disregarding the two hits that started the fight, Bebe managed to send an uppercut through the spew of blows he no longer cared about. The uppercut didn't seem to be enough to gain leverage over the pussy of a male, so he sent another one with more force to send him back a few inches before matching the assault with a left hook that landed to his jaw. Dipping down some, Bebe ran full force towards Cartman, using his upper body strength to pick him up off of the floor before slamming him into one of the tables inside of the cafe, breaking it instantly as the two fell to the floor. Purposely placing his knee in the male's chest to keep him from rolling over, Bebe then went blow for blow to Cartman's unprotected face — only increasing the speed and heightening the power behind his fists as his rage skyrocketed. He didn't stop once he saw the male's face bloodying, making it his focus to continue pouring all of his strength to the punches that flew into his mouth, nose, and eyes. The damage of his hits only increasing as Cartman's head knocked into the hard flooring from the impact of the blows.
Bebe pulls up to Mango’s Tropical Cafe, parking his car in the parking lot outside of the venue. Once he got out of his car, he locked the car doors behind him before sliding his keys in his pocket. He scanned over the crowd of people, looking for @cartmcn since that was the only reason he was showing his face for the event tonight. Standing off to the side of the entrance so he was clearly in view aside from the people heading inside of the cafe, he folded his arms across his chest. “Anybody seen a ninja turtle on the loose? Tell him I’m looking for him if you see him.”
