Donât fret. I know it was the man with far too many buttons undone for that amount of chest hair.
Iâm honestly not even surprised.
He looks the type.

âYou had it right the first time. Well, wouldâve, if youâd left the sass out, but close enough.â
âWhatâve you been up to?âÂ
âYou set yourself up for that one.â
âWell, you know, this and that - Auror business, sleep, eating, hanging out with Frank - the usual. Whatâve you been up to?â
swingingmadly:
That would be wonderful, wouldnât it?
Yeah, I suppose it would.Â
longbottomfrank:
But you laughed.
Yeah, you kinda-maybe-sorta inspire that in me.
florenceboot:
Youâre cool, it doesnât smell bad.
Glad to hear it.
Kidding.
longbottomfrank:
You did. I know Iâm easier to see from far away but you have to learn to look up.
<
Youâre dumb.
Itâs going to be quite warm for Easter, isnât it?
I -- yeah, I think thatâs what the WWN said this morning.Â
fabianprewetting:
âWhatâs the magic word?â
âPlease. Or are you referring to the several other thousands of âmagic wordsâ we see used on a daily basis?âÂ
dearborned:
âNah.â
âAh, such a charmer.â
longbottomfrank:
No can do.
Sorry, two seconds. Hey, are you okay?
Mhmm.
Yeah. Iâm good. Just, thought I saw someone I needed to talk to.
Excuse me.
marlenemick:
âWell that depends,â said Marlene, flipping her hair aside as she hooked arms with Alice on their way to the end of the counter. âWhat time does it open? Because thereâs an algorilla or whatever fancy maths word it is for how far ahead youâre supposed to arrive, I think. Weâll have to ask someone else to do it, obviously, butâŚâ she trailed off with a shrug.
Alice let herself go, her shoulders growing lax as she hooked her arms with Marlene. âThink itâs sometime like eleven? Algorilla? Like those giant ape-things they look at in zoos? Wait, I think itâs an... Algorithm?â She shrugged slightly. âSomething like that. Think thereâll be a big queue? I hope not. Iâd actually like to not stand outside for a ridiculous amount of time.â
royallyrosa:
âThey donât need to know that, though.â
âOh, of course not. What they donât know wonât hurt them.â
drcsmdws:
âItâs really just a fact. We both love her too much for it to be too much of an insult, anyways.â
âThey do, donât they? I hope youâre taking care of yourself too. I canât believe I really wanted to be an Auror for a bit there, I donât think it wouldâve been for me.â
âThatâs a truer statement than any other youâve ever made.âÂ
âThey really do. I am, I swear. I eat breakfast and sleep enough, promise. Itâs hard work. Swear I havenât seen my hands without ink on them for weeks. They just seemed to be perpetually covered.â
dawnmaywithey:
âI can imagine. Seems like thereâs a bit going on over there.â
âWorkâs as well as it can be. Mooâs good too. I swear heâs grown since youâd have last seen him.â
âJust a bit?â Alice joked, trying to ease the tension, although far more of it was on her end than it was Dawnâs.Â
âThatâs good. Oh, he has? I swear heâs bigger every time I see him."
eldestbones:
âNow you sound like Amelia.â He joked. âI know, youâre right. I guess Iâm just trying to figure out what else I want my life to be.â
âWell, Ameliaâs one smart cookie.â She flashed a grin. âI hope you figure it out soon, Henry, though something tells me youâll do just fine.â
brilliantdaffodil:
âI cannot agree with you more.â Personally Narcissa had enjoyed very few of the Gothic Novels, preferring the fairy tale and romance genre a lot more. However her parents had preferred her to read the classics, feeling that romance would mess with her head too much. âI suppose you see a lot more of the craziness than I do here in the office. But the paperwork is enough to tell me just how mad things have become.âÂ
Alice, honestly, was just glad someone saw the same thing as she did. She knew all too well they saw things through different lenses, that they were on different ends of their social spectrums. âItâs nice to hear that someone does.â She cleared her throat, sliding a piece of paper beneath her elbow. âItâs complete madness. And some people are just ignoring it - because they canât, or they donât, want to face it.â
