"Mine is always open." Cal stated with a small little shrug. "I’m usually staying inside the house with Leo or doing other things to occupy my time. I like to make clothes too." He said with a smile. "I usually try to make the things that I see on my dash. Since I don’t want Leo to have to spend a lot of money to make me look nice. So I usually ask him to buy the fabric, how much of it i need, and any other trimmings or details I need." He sighed. "i can always make you something if you want."

But he was getting off guard.

"We can do it anytime then, I guess. Since we’re both free." He chuckled.

Arley's face lit up at the notion of making clothes, practically in shock and awe. "You... make your own clothes?" He didn't even. Consider that ever? Oh no. Cal just gave Arley a new hobby. "Can you teach me sometime? That would be so cool, oh my gosh..." He gripped Cal's hand tighter. "I would love to sew with you, sometime. If you wouldn't mind me learning." He needed some hobbies, honestly. He'd spent a lot of time powered down when Dirk got depressed, which had been kinda. Not really good for him. Eh.

"Oh? Er..." He chewed on his lip a little, a nervous habit he picked up from watching D, who did it a lot. "We could do it today, if you'd like? I'm not really sure what it entails 100% but my evening is open." He looked a little unsure, but it was mostly because he didn't want to be an inconvenience r anything.

Arley’s excitement was very contagious, making Cal giggle and practically vibrate just as happily. He would love a sleep over, and having another person in the house just might help Leo get out of his funk a bit. The more the merrier!

Cal’s smile softened to something a little more soothing as he reached out, placing a hand on Arley’s and giving it a squeeze. “I’m fairly new to it myself, but I know enough to be able to teach you the basics. I’m gonna try to make it enjoyable for you, because I don’t want to hurt you or have you associate it with something bad because I did something wrong.” He said, his smile growing once more. “Name the time and place, and we’ll do it.”

The shorter blonde was very happy to see Cal enjoying himself. It was... very, very rare that anyone was happy in this household. Which was sad, but he'd gotten used to it. For better or for worse.

Smiling to himself and squeezing Cal's hand back, he looked up at him and tried to hide his growing smile. This was exciting! He had at least some idea of what to expect, but otherwise it was completely new to him. The feelings, anyway. It looked like it felt nice? In some pictures, anyway. In some others it looked painful. But he was not unaccustomed to pain, and it was the experience overall he wanted. He smiled a little reassuringly. "I trust you. Er, I said that already, but I do. I know you'll... make it okay." Though he did hum a little in thought. "My schedule is entirely open as long as yours is."

"I can always have you come sleep over one time! We can make lots of things together. Leo loves to cook and I love to help!" He offered with a grin. He had eaten his fill before he got here, so all of those nuggies were for Arley’s little tummy.

The flustered look on his face was absolutely adorable, he had to say. Arley in all was a little cutie. Especially since he was shorter than him. Something that was rare for Cal to see! Exciting! “Mmhm.” He hummed, starting to gently twiddle his thumbs, something he did when he was thinking.”Well. I was thinking maybe I could show you. I mean, we’re friends and I trust you, and I hope you trust me. And it can be something chaste and doesn’t have to mean anything romantic. You can set the rules on things I’m not allowed to do so you can be as comfortable as possible. But you don’t have to if you’re not comfortable with that.” By the end of Cal’s little monologue, he too was radiating in a small blush. Seems like Arley wasn’t the only one who was flustered.

If his second squeal of happiness wasn't a good indication that he was super stoked about the idea of having a sleepover, nothing was. "Yeah!!! Let's do that!!! I don't think Dirk or Jake would mind and I'm sure John would like some time to himself." Oh noooo he was excited. Stoked as hell. Friends were such an important part of his growth and internal development and he was a little stunted. But he had chicken nuggets right now and that was also important.

He listened patiently as Cal spoke, watching him and making a few confused faces at certain parts. When he was done, he shook his head. "I wouldn't mind that, actually. But I don't really know what I would or wouldn't like? So I think it might be best if you just... ah..." His blush crept a little further, reaching his ears and he rubbed at his cheeks to try and make the colour go away. Needless to say, it didn't work. "Did what you knew? Um. I do trust you! Sorry for not saying that sooner, I know it's an important thing to tell someone. But. Ah. Yes. We can do that. If you'd like!"

Cal grinned brightly at his beam, because gosh, he was really super cute. He allowed him to pull him over to the bed, climbing right into his little nest spot. He wiggled to make himself more comfortable, sighing once he finally was. He waved his hand at Arley, shaking his head with a grin.

"Oh no, this is perfect! Very comfy. Oh!" He said, holding out the container that looked very similar to a bento box, decorated with pastel colors and designs. Cal’s very own ‘lunchbox’. "Here are the nuggies I promised!" In fact, this was probably the first time he had been out of the house since Leo found him. It was nice and relaxing to be around a new friend.

"SO. Let’s continue our talk." he said with a grin.

Practically squealing with delight as the container was handed over, he opened it carefully and took one out, savoring the little bite he took of it. Oh, it was so yummy! Dirk had a very minimal diet (probably due to depression, poor thing) and Saw didn't eat. So Arley tended to eat whatever was left for him, and that never included chicken nuggets. "They're so good. I'm so happy I could cry." He leaned back against the pillows with a happy sigh, finishing the one he had and taking another.

"Yes! Our talk!" Though he did look a little embarrassed. "I don't have a lot of friends, so I really don't get to talk about it too often. I don't think Jake would want to talk about it much, and I just met John so I don't want to weird him out or anything. He has a hard enough time believing I'm an android. But ! You had input, I believe?"

With the promise of chicken nuggets to be delivered and a conversation that definitely needed to be had, Cal told Leo where he was going before giving him a big kiss and heading into the transportalizer. He punched in the coordinates and felt the rushing motion before he found his feet on solid ground again. Leaning back against the transportalizer, he took a moment to collect and ground himself. He still wasn’t used to that.

When he recovered, he followed Arley’s directions and headed down the designated hall and door. He gave a small knock before opening it up with a grin. “Helloooo?” He said in a sing-song voice before heading inside, closing the door behind him.

With an excited bounce he hopped up off the bed, excitement scribbled all over his face with his bright eyes and big smile.

"Hello!! Thank you for coming over! It's very nice to see you!" He headed over to Cal and tugged him closer to the bed, making room in his nest of blankets on Dirk's old bed for the other boy to sit. This was exciting! He didn't often have company exclusively for him, so this was a wonderful change of pace. Most people came over to help Dirk or - sometimes, D used to have people over, but that was it. Arley was lacking in friends of his own. But now one was here! To see him!

He climbed back onto the bed and clapped his hands excitedly. "I hope this is okay? Please tell me if you need any more blankets or anything. There's a ton around here and I can sneak into D's room where John is sleeping if I'm really really quiet."
