She was fidgeting, incessantly twirling and unraveling strands of pink hair around her finger. It wasn't that she wasn't at ease around her older brothers--scratch that, there was always somewhat unsettled in the presence of her half-siblings--but the circumstances of today's meeting were just out of the ordinary,
This marked the fourth time she had to remind herself that she had every right to claim part of the Kou riches. it wasn't as if she was spending extravagantly (well, maybe on rare occasions) and it was, after all, a father's duty to support all his children.
Still, to speak of her financial with Koumei...
Before she had realized, Kougyoku was already standing at the familiar front door. She had only had the time to visit once or twice since they had both settled down in the city, but the pinkette always made note to try and visit sometimes. Knocking on the door, she called out, "Koumei onii-sama--" Out of habit, her hand reached for the doorknob and twisted; the door giving way and creaking back, however, was not expected.
In panic she nearly slammed the door shut on herself. Remembering herself, Kougyoku gently pushed the door open and cautiously poked her head through the entry. "Onii-sama?" Her voice was hushed--uncertain, almost.
