5 happy thoughts

1. I read posts about mom's husbands in the new mom and postpartum groups I'm in and some of those guys are real jerks. Daddy and I may not have an ideal relationship but he's willing to help me with his child and be a father and that is awesome. 2. My boy is sleeping on my chest after nursing and he smells fantastic 3. My grandmother is here to stay with us and so far hasn't made any snippy comments about my looks or my house. 4. I haven't been as depressed. I had forgotten how bad my PMS was and it hit me like a sack of bricks out of nowhere. 5. I've been producing more excess milk and have been putting more and more away into the freezer, especially because I have been nursing at night so he's been less relying on the bottles we keep in the fridge.

So I absolutely love my then and now pictures because they remind me to be so proud of myself. Even if I stay at this weight I’m so much better off than I used to be and I always think that’s worth celebrating. I use that before picture because it was my absolute heaviest at 260lbs. I’m now 185 and while I still have some work to do in order to reach my goal, I think I have to give myself credit where credit is due. Go me!
