I feel like ppl don't know that 'The Emmys' don't have any control over who is nominated. That's for voters to decide. Tweeting the Emmys account doesn't do anything. Tweets won't win her a nom, either. The majority of the voting body is older and they don't even use social media. And even if they were in twitter, they'd never see the tweets. Tweeting support and love for Mel and her work is always awesome! Never stop. But sadly, it won't get her a nomination. That's all behind the scenes stuff. I go to several FYC events for voting members each year, and have friends that vote. It's largely very political. A lot of pressing flesh, flashy ads, and the above mentioned FYC events. (Only a few cast members from TWD attended their FYC event this year. Melissa was not among them, which doesn't necessarily mean a thing.)

No one asked for my opinion, and I doubt anyone wants to hear it. But I'm going to say it anyway - don't waste your time trying to tweet for a nomination. It's an awesome thought. But pretty impossible to get a positive outcome that way. Instead, tweet Mel your support and love. Working as a personal assistant, I've had several bosses who have won awards. They are largely packed away, or collecting dust on a shelf. The love and positive thoughts from caring fans means so much more. ❤️

The necklace has been planned since last year. Loot Crate has no connection to the show, and does not know what's going to happen. I work for Loot Crate and was involved in the creation of the necklace. It's not an indication of anything that might happen on the show.

So about a week ago I ordered this…. I remember being so overjoyed doing it. Never did I think that today the day it would arrive it would bring up any type of sadness. But you know what, I don’t care. I love it! I still don’t know what the hell is going on but the necklace is extremely beautiful just like that relationship, that has sadly momentarily been put aside, is. I will always love Caryl, I will always ship Caryl. It will never be over it, not while both of them are breathing.

A story shouldn’t really need any Actors from the show to come to Twitter to show their support or to ‘sell’ the story to the viewer. It should be strong enough to 'sell’ itself.

No, I totally get it!!! I've just seen some posts where people are reading something into this, and they shouldn't. It wasn't created to be Carylcentric, or anything like that. Not indicative of anything, or a sign of something. :)
