Right around 13, my body stopped being this thing that took me through life and became this thing that was (and never could be!) good enough. Food was no longer substance that nourished my body, it turned into the enemy. And for over a decade I’ve been trying to figure out WHY?! I’m a reasonably intelligent person yet I can’t for the life of me figure out how to truly LOVE me and eat in a way that represents that love. I thought I was the only person that felt this way, but I’m not. Ladies, let’s learn to love ourselves again. And let’s support each other along the way.

Camille O'Connell + character tropes

Cami is very loveable and endearing. She has been through so much tragedy that she is pretty much a broken soul and everyone that she loved and cared about has died on her. Despite this, Camille still finds the strength and the will to fight and to keep going no matter what. She still retains her optimism and her ability to see the good in situations and the good in other people. Her relationship and her interactions with Klaus are very tender and heartwarming and she is seen to bring out the much warmer and kinder side of Klaus’ personality. That, in itself, makes Cami loveable.

Why Is Cami Still in NO?

1) She has a legacy just like everyone else. Her family’s been there just like other characters and she wants to fulfill it.

2) Cami has a job, and she’s trying to finish school. I’d wanna stay too.

3) She has people she cares about in NO. Even after 2x01 when she tried not to get involved in the supernatural she stayed in town. For example she cares about Davina and feels responsible for her. She’s not gonna pack up and leave.

4) Klaus. Yes she’s in love with him. Idk when or why this became such a crime. In the season finale she said he’s part of the reason she’s staying, but thats been part of the reason. The only difference now is that Cami’s admitting it.

So what she’s staying and a part of it is for Klaus? Can we just be happy that someone WANTS to be in his life? Not because of circumstance, or because her life is tied to his, or because she needs him for something, but because she cares about him. Because she enjoys his company. As a Klaus fan, I appreciate that she’s someone who hasnt tried to manipulate him, tries to support him, &asks for nothing in return. You know, like a friend?

You have no idea! You have NO idea! It’s like sexy girl power. I mean, things, um, things get… let’s put it this way: Phoebe and I, at the table read, definitely were blushing at some point. (laughs)

I love it! And does it take a lot for you guys to blush at this point?

No, actually it really doesn’t take a lot, but we were blushing. And I think for everyone else to blush… There might be a new shipper name coming your way.
