{thigh} for Wanda- princezukoofcaldera
@princezukoofcaldera
Wanda was certainly not expecting to feel Zukoās strong hand caressing up her thigh, and she looks up at him with a blush on her face. Sheās been in the Fire Nation for a while, even having been staying in the Palace for her own safetyāafter countless attempts of telling Zuko she can take care of herselfāand she clears her throat. She always gets nervous around him, but in the best way.
āH-Hey,ā she squeaks, gazing at his hand again before her eyes meet his. Her own are dark with desire, and she doesnāt try to hide it. With how long sheās been here, sheās certainly developed feelings⦠and she always notices how ridiculously hot he is.
āHow um⦠how are you doing?ā she asks breathlessly, but she moves closer to him. She wants him to touch her even more, and thatās clear.
His hand on her thigh was a means of comfort. Wanda had been here a while now and he empathized with her being far away from home. What he doesnāt anticipate was how long he let it linger there. How dangerous it was to feel the heat of her body and how close his hand laid to the apex of her thighs.
āHi-Iāmā¦how are you?ā His words are caught in midair. Blood thundered in his ears and burrows south to his loins. Zuko repeats to himself to let her go, but the muscles in his body do not heed his commands. Instead he squeezes her thigh, moves it just an inch closer.
Yes, this was indeed dangerous.

Red. Itās everywhere⦠with little black flames etched into flags. She is⦠entirely confused. This is not New York in the slightest. Wanda gazes at the people walking the streetsāwho happen to be looking at her like sheās got three headsāand frowns.
Where exactly is she?
The maroon jacket she wears does happen to fit in with the colors that the civilians are wearing, but her heels donāt.
It doesnāt help that no one is stopping to speak to her or ask her any questions, so she takes it upon herself to walk into a nearby tea shop, looking around a bit apprehensively.
Wanda sees a taller man with shaggy black hair, and she smiles to herself. Heās sitting with an older gray haired man, and they seem to be playing some type of game.
āUm⦠excuse me?ā she asks, her Sokovian accent leaking out much more than she would have liked. āWould one of you please tell me where I am? I believe Iām a bit lostā¦ā
Wandaās⦠so confused. She shakes her head, standing up then. āWell, firstly, I do not know what a firebender is,ā she replies, running a hand through her long hair. āSecond, I donāt know what your um⦠titles mean. Nor do I know what the āEarth Kingdomā is, unless youāre trying to refer to earth in itself⦠Avengers Tower is my homeātemporary home, until I find an apartment⦠not that thatās important right now.ā
She sighs then, playing with the many rings on her hands. āI am clearly very, very far from home⦠and if I knew exactly where I was, if this was a known location for me then I could just get back home but this⦠this is completely different.ā
Wanda is clearly a little stressed. Usually, she could just teleport herself home⦠but not in this case. āFire Lord⦠what exactly does that mean? Are you like a king here?ā she asks, eyes widening slightly when she gazes up at him.
Zukoās stunned by her sudden panic. Of course, everyone knew what a Fire Lord was. āNot exactly a King but I am the Leader which governs this country. You are in the Fire Nation.ā
Based on her reaction, it didnāt seem she was aware of what any of the nations were. āCalm down,ā Zuko tries to console her, gently placing his arms on her shoulders. āThink. Where of the four nations are you from? Because, frankly, Iām having a hard time understanding you.ā
He grabs the map, asking her again where this āAvengerās Tower was located but to no avail.
āUm, nephew, I do believe she is referring to something not of this world.ā Iroh chimes in. āIām afraid, Ms. Wanda, you are more lost than we presumed. Do you remember how you got here?ā

Wanda does try to gaze in awe at the palace around them, her eyes wide. āItās absolutely beautiful,ā is all she can get out as Zuko tugs her along. When they do reach the room, sheās about to comment on his palace before she watches him light the candles.
With no match.
She looks up at him, surprised. āDid you just light those candles?ā she asks him. But when her eyes lock on his candlelit features, her breath catches in her throat. Heās even more attractive under the dim light, and she can feel her face flush before she quickly looks away.
Wanda moves to take a few steps further inside. āYour home⦠it is almost as big as Avengersā Tower,ā she muses, a smile on her face. She sits down in front of his desk, crossing one leg over the other.
Zuko arched a brow while rummaging through his desk- spirits heāll have to clean up this mess later- until he finds the map among a pile of other geographical scrolls. āOf course, Iām a firebender.ā He points out as though itās obvious. āIām Fire Lord Zuko. This is my Uncle, formal general and Dragon of the West, Iroh.ā
Defeated by the stack of papers, Zuko pushes them aside and lays the map out. āNormally I wouldnāt endanger my life by allowing a stranger into my palace but you seem seriously lost.ā He blows the dust away then cocks his head at Wanda. āAvengerās tower? Is that something new in the Earth Kingdom? Iāve never heard of it.ā
He spreads out the world map but when he attempts to guess the direction of Wandaās home, she doesnāt seem to agree with any of what theyāre looking at. āWhatās wrong?ā He asks.

She feels her face flush again when he leans in and whispers to her, but she just gives him a smile. āPortal? At least, that is what Iām assuming,ā she murmurs, biting her lower lip.
āA map? Iām sure that would help⦠guards?ā she asks. He must have a high title or something. āThough, Iām not sure my team travelled with me⦠I might be alone right now.ā
āBut if you do have a map, then I would love to look at it so I can locate my home.ā
Thereās something in her smile. It reaches her eyes and he canāt help but take in the shape of her nose, her lipsā¦her face. Zuko collects himself, taking a step back and ignores the curious expression Iroh is throwing at him.
Zuko can only nod. He doesnāt know what sheās referring to by portal- most certainly not a spirit portal- any sightings of one would have immediately been reported. Instead, he and his Uncle prepare to sneak back in the palace undetected.
āWe should head out.ā He offers her his cloak. āTake this. Not to be rude but youāre attire, uh, stands out too much.ā He waits for her to put it on before taking her hand and leading her away. Iroh joins alongside them, avoiding the eyes of the other patrons in the tea shop as they exit. āStay close, Wanda.ā
Wanda raises her brows at that, but she takes the cloak anyway. āYes, I can see that,ā she murmurs. Her clothes are much more modern and tighter than what most women here are wearing, and she slowly puts it on.
But her face turns red at the feeling of the man taking her hand, and she clears her throat. āI am not planning on wandering off in a strange world,ā she promises. Though, sheās more than capable of taking care of herself, but she can tell sheās not entirely welcome by the looks sheās getting.
āYour home,ā she states. āWhere the map is⦠how far is it?ā she wonders.
āUm, not too far. In fact, you canāt miss it.ā Iroh laughs sheepishly, realizing they had not presented their titles.
Zuko side eyes his uncle as they lead Wanda out the back of the facility and through the alleyways leading to the passageway he and Iroh snuck out of earlier that morning. Guess thereās no beating around the bush. Wanda will find out soon enough but thatās a conversation for when they get to his study.
The passageway was a secret one only known by royalty. Itās one of many that leads to different exits and hidden bunkers including the one his father used during the day of Black Sun.
Zuko doesnāt give Wanda the time to awe over the palace once they sneak out into one of the massive corridors. The guards will be making their rounds and thereās no explaining whoās the woman he has with him and he doesnāt want to be scolded by his head servant, Kioko, for sneaking out of the palace without a guard again.
āMy study is up ahead.ā Zuko says back to Wanda, tugging her along. Iroh opens the door to Zukoās chambers, ushering them in and once they enter, Zuko concentrates on lighting the flames of the candles; the room having now darkened since the sun was going down.
āTake a seat on. Iāll grab a map from my desk.ā

Any belongings Zuko couldnāt carry in his arms were left outside to be soaked. He frowns, shuddering from the cold and resolves to steaming the water from his skin. He drops his things, mumbling about his luck before chancing a glance over at the waterbender who followed him here. Katara bends the rain from her drenched clothes.

āLeave the palace.ā his Uncle said. āGet out more. Nothing bad could happenā
Or so one would think, if a woman wearing strange clothes hadnāt approached them in what was a members only tea shop playing pai sho- granted, Zuko wasnāt a member either but Iroh had dragged him here as a guest.
The young Fire Lord straightens up in his seating position and while his Uncle stands up to greet the woman in his usual charming manner, Zuko glares at him. What if this woman was an assassin? Surely, Iroh couldnāt be so naive to trust a strange, clearly foreign, person with attire such as hers.
āWhy, hello-ā Iroh starts, reaching for who he assumes is a poor, lost woman before heās interrupted by his nephew placing a hand on his shoulder.
āYou donāt look like youāre from around here.ā He points out harshly. āCare to introduce yourself first.ā
āZuko!ā Iroh reprimands. āShow some respectā He turns to the woman with a warm smile. Forgive my nephew. Iām afraid heās forgotten his manners in the presence of a beautiful lady.ā
Wanda smiles at the older man, reaching out and shaking his hand anyway. āHello. It is very nice to meet you both⦠my name is Wanda Maximoff. Like I said, I am lost and was wondering if you could tell me where I am.ā
She feels a blush touch her cheeks at the compliment about her appearance, and she plays with the many rings on her manicured fingers. āThank you, sir.ā Wanda glances at Zuko again, wondering why heās so wary of her.
Then again, she could be in an entirely different world.
āIām very sorry for interrupting your game.ā She offers them a kind smile, extending it to Zuko longer so he knows sheās not a threat.
āNo worries.ā Iroh assures her. āMy nephew was already on a losing streak and we were probably going to retire. I am Iroh and this is my nephew Zuko. Though, heās out under guise, so we ask you donāt give away his location to the nearest guard.ā The former general winks.
Zuko wants to roll his eyes but catches how the young woman is blushing profusely at his Uncleās smooth talk. She smiles in his direction, and odd enough, Zuko is suddenly flustered. He quickly dismisses it. Wanda? Thatās not a name heās heard from any of the nationās.
Zuko steps forward, observing Wanda a little closer.
āYouāre in Caldera, the Fire Nationās capital. And, I donāt mean to pry, but what nation are you from? Weād be happy to point you in the right direction back home.ā
Wanda has to stretch her neck a bit to look up at him and she raises her brows. āUm⦠Sokovia? America? New York⦠take your pick,ā she murmurs, her eyes looking him up and down. āBut I do have a feeling I am nowhere near home. I do not see any of my team anywhere,ā she tells them, frowning.
āWhat is this Fire Nation? I certainly do not recognize any part of it.ā
She does notice that as soon as Zuko steps closer to her, her face heats up, but she brushes it aside.
āZuko and Iroh⦠it is very nice to meet you both,ā she says with another kind smile.
Zuko glances over his shoulder at his uncle and the two share a confused look. The Fire Lord was hoping Iroh knew something, considering the elderly manās many journeys across the world, but he only gives Zuko a shrug.
āIām afraid neither of us have heard of such places.ā Crossing his arms over his chest and leaning in so that he could whisper to Wanda, Zuko says. āForgive my wariness but I find it strange you havenāt heard of the Fire Nation despite suddenly showing up. How did you travel? By boat? Airship?ā
He may have come off a bit harsh. Given the recent attempts on his life, was it really a coincidence that Wanda had just shown up out of the blue?
Realizing his proximity and how close he was to her face, Zuko clears his throat and straightens up. āThereās a map at my residence. Iām sure we can locate your home. If youād like, I can have my guards keep a look out for your companions.ā

A few minutes and a couple of fights for the bathroom later, both Sokka and Katara were already dressed up and ready to go. Once he saw his son running excitedly to the garage, Hakoda chuckled and checked if all of the brunette's belongings were already packed.
"Alright guys, remember that we'll only stop a few times for potty breaks and food. We better arrive before nightfall."
The older man friendly warned his children when the whole family had their seatbelts buckled up. Soon, the four of them started what would be Sokka's first memorial event of such a new chapter of his life.
~~~~~~~~~~
As it had been agreed, the party arrived at the campus in time. The brunette was trying his best to not scream excitedly upon gazing the dormitory - Hakoda had to obviously take care of the bureaucratic part of his son's arrival and 'check in'. Before anyone could say anything, Sokka bursted inside and ran towards the door of his future dorm.
"Four hours ago he said 'I won't break into the dorms like a fool', yet, here we are. Then people call me the crazy sibling." Katara complained with a sigh from seeing her foolish brother acting like an idiot while their father could only laugh with their 'GranGran'.
The brunette bluntely opened the doors ince he thought he would have the dorm all for himself. However, Sokka ended up meeting with two strangers: a likely-old man and a scarred guy whose face wasn't the most appealing one.
In the midst of unpacking- well, more so his Uncle who wouldnāt let alone and had to see to it that Zukoās things were put away properly- the door to his dorm room opens and in walks another family. Lively and chattering as they enter, Zuko feels his nerves spike and the anxiety he felt before coming here only increased.
Immediately casting his eyes to the ground, Zuko tries to come up with an approach to introduce himself. He didnāt know how to make friends. Hell, he didnāt have friends if you didnāt count his sister and her goons- one of whom heās dated on and off. But the courage he musters falls short at the sight of his uncle cheerfully greeting the family and he wants to smack his hand over his forehead.
āHello!ā Iroh takes the hand of the young man who was the first to walk through the door, quite enthusiastically. āI am Iroh and this is my nephew, Zuko.ā
āHey.ā Was all Zuko could choke. He may have unintentionally come off a bit distant.
Iroh moves onto shaking the hand of the rest of the family, and boldly kisses the back of the hand of the elderly woman. āA pleasure to meet you.ā He grins.
āIā¦ā thereās a hint of skepticism. Zuko bites the corner of his lip, absorbing everything Katara said while his hands remained on her shoulders, keeping her at arms length. āYou have nothing to be sorry about, and you have every reason to hate me.ā He sighs.
He didnāt think convincing the Avatar he was on their side would be easy. He anticipated some backlash. What he didnāt expect was Katara showing up at his camp with a threat in hand. Sure, Zuko had ridden on the hope that the faith Katara had in him in the catacombs didnāt disappear. But now, heās even more confused, since only hours ago she had told him to scram.
He has so many question, all of which were lodged in his throat because in the aftermath of their sudden make out session, Kataraās hair fell loose from the top half of her hair and the robe she was wearing had fallen over her shoulder.
Zuko coughs, placing a hand over his mouth to hide his blush. āUm, sorry.ā He excused himself, shifting slightly in an effort to hide his arousal. Calm down, he scolds himself, weāre not even friends yet. But even that reminder doesnāt stop the blood from rushing south. Or deter his gaze from lingering over the crook of her shoulder. Or his hand from caressing up and down her bicep.
So good.
The delicate touch of her hand roaming his chest sends tendrils down his spine. His cock twitches in anticipation, seeking the warmth of Kataraās sex as he rolls his hips along with her. Zuko makes a low hum, aiding Katara in her explorations; grasping her wrist gently and guiding her hand lower and lower.
His gaze falls lidded, dimming into a warm amber as he guides her hand through the waistband of his trousers and around his-
āFuck, Katara...ā He gasps against her mouth. Zukoās jaw goes slack. His free hand continues to work her dusky nipples, hardening beneath his ministrations. The cave grows hot, as well as the space between them. The biting cold that had forced them to seek warmth from one another subsided and is replaced with an insatiable lust he wasnāt aware was there before.
Katara was making him feel so many things at once. It both enthralled and frightened him. She was better than him, in ways he wishes he were only a fraction of.
He breaks the kiss, ghosting his lips across her cheek until he reaches the shell of her ear, burying his nose. āStroke me.ā He whispers, rasp and heedy.
The rain falls heavy. It patters in a hard rhythm along with the song of relentless winds and whistles of a storm with no end in sight. Any belongings Zuko couldnāt carry in his arms were left outside to be soaked. He frowns, shuddering from the cold and resolves to steaming the water from his skin. He drops his things, mumbling about his luck before chancing a glance over at the waterbender who followed him here. Katara bends the rain from her drenched clothes.
In the midst of her confrontation with him upon finding his camp, it came pouring. She had made it clear he was unwanted- though he had no intention of giving up yet on helping the Avatar- Katara was adamant he relinquish any attempt to fool them. He exchanged words with her he didnāt mean; after all, he was trying and she did not want to hear him out. Before things became heated, they were forced to take shelter. Despite Katara probably being as stubborn as he is, he still holds some concern, deciding to speak up after a long silence.
Kataraās teeth grip her lower lip as his shifting was not helping her situation. She can feel his arousal beneath her and she shivers, clearing her throat. She thinks itās endearing, the way he tries to hide his blush, since she had seen it before he covered his mouth. āI-Itās okay,ā she murmurs, trying to find what he was looking at.
She sees that his eyes are locked onto her exposed skin and the hand caressing her arm sends another pleasurable shiver through her. Swallowing thickly, she wonders if itās okay to kiss him again. Her body is positively on fire, and her face moves towards his again. Sheās still straddling him, and her hips unintentionally grind down on his. Spirits, heās hard.
In the action of leaning down, Kataraās robe had moved further, the top of the swell of her breast now visible, along with more of her bare arm. She licks her lips instinctively, searching his eyes, and when his hand is removed from his mouth, she connects their lips again.
Kataraās hand thatās not holding her up is now on the side of his neck as she kisses him, slowly and tentatively, her tongue gently swiping along his lower lip.
