The Powerpuff Girls S02E01

"Oh that sounds like a really evil name." She wouldn't correct him on her not being an actual princess technically since she liked to see herself as such. "Thank you. Tell me would a supervillain such as yourself know anything about the powerpuff girls?" She asked as she made her way inside.

A supervillain. At being called that, Jack felt giddy with glittering glee, though tried to reign some of that energy in, in front of the princess.

"Powerpuff Girls? Sounds important. Lemme check." Jack flips open his phone. So, there are a group of heroes who are like, what, toddlers? Princess Morbucks certainly didn't have the composure of a toddler. She had class, fashion, and was coherent and eloquent enough.

"...These kids are BOTHERING you?" Jack Spicer holds out his phone, revealing an image of a girl wearing blue, one wearing red, and one wearing green.

"Yeah that's them and they are. They're in my class and when they were showing off their powers when we first met I thought they were so cool. I told em so and said I wanted to be a powerpuff girl like them but they said I couldn't. Every time I've tried showing off my new gadgets and armored suits they've just rejected me again and again. It isn't fair."

"Princess morbucks. The one and only of course."

"A princess, huh? Can't say I've heard of you, but we can fix that. I'm Jack Spicer, Prince of Darkness, Lord of Evil. Oh hey, nice last name by the way!" He welcomes her indoors, the mansion's foyer filled with museum-grade Chinese pottery and expensive marble flooring.

I'd argue that princess's dad giving her money isn't him just trying to shoo her away. He always seems to listen to her and is patient with her tantrums rather than seeming annoyed or angry by her crying and yelling. I think he loves her dearly but just doesn't known how to express that love other than spoiling her with gifts and giving her money.

I know this scene giving her a stack of cash to sleep with is meant to be comedic but I think it's sweet. That's like a teddy bear to both of them. But anyways daddy morbucks means well but just goes about raising her in the wrong ways. He's a misguided father not a terrible one.
