My name is Professor William James Moriarty, though my brothers and dear friends are in the habit of referring to me as Liam or Will.
I am a mathematics professor at Durham University; I am especially well-versed in the disciplines of algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
I also take great interest in the studies of literature, philosophy, psychology, and sociology.
I speak English, French, and Latin fluently.
My eldest brother, Albert, is the owner of the company Universal Exports.
My youngest brother, Louis, is less social than Albert and I. He mostly tends to our mansion grounds.
My dear friend Sherlock is a detective. Though he is not on this website, it would not surprise me if he were to use this blog himself on occasion.
I believe that should be all. Do have a pleasant day.
HEY @casino-stan GUESS WHAT I (@chuuya-under-cottonwood-trees) DID
okay okay information time
liam uses he/they though he doesn't really admit it. he's also very gay but also doesn't really admit it
mod uses any pronouns other than she/her and i am aroace. also a raging lesbian
this will have anime spoilers and some manga spoilers but everything will be pre-timeskip
i'm not going to include any ships in here. i don't necessarily mind sherliam content, but don't expect to get any directly from this blog. or maybe do. idk anymore lmao, some shit will probably happen
MOD IS A MINOR NO WEIRD SHIT PLEASE I'M SEX REPULSED I DON'T WANNA SEE THAT
also i am not fluent in french or latin by any means. i have significantly more of a chance of understanding you if you talk in french than latin however
i am also quite good at algebra and trig :D calc too but less so. either way feel free to send liam math asks that would be very fun
i also have special interests in literature, philosophy, psychology, and sociology so fr yap about them. please
if anyone wants to make partner rp blogs for any of the characters listed in the intro or anyone in the crime gang dm me!! for rn though if i think of anything for one of said characters to say i will put it in brackets like this:
liam's text
[character name]: character text
or wherever in the format it works for the conversation
Too easy to spot, for your situation. If you want a clean murder with the least chance of being caught, your best option would be to inject them with insulin under the tongue or a shot of air between their toes.
please dont let stupid people get to you :(
I know its upsetting but think about it rationally. You cant do anything to change the mind of the idiots who say the truly most abhorring things youve ever heard, and so dont get too worked up over it:(
For reference, if you have an equation with only one side and no value for x, and no coefficients that can be factored out, there is no way to solve or simplify the equation.
Ah, hello, Albert. I didn't expect to find you here as well.

Glad to see you here, Will! Figured that creating a blog would help me stay up-to-date with events happening in the world, while I'm away at work. Is everything alright back at Durham?
Interesting. You are certainly Sherlock Holmes; your basic information aligns with that of my dear friend's. But you are oh-so evidently not the Sherly I know. I must question if you are even from the same reality as I am.

Your existence is intriguing as well, to say the least. Last time I checked the Moriarty I know didn't speak French.
Your speech patterns are far more similar to mine than those of the Sherlock I know. You also seem to resemble him but you do not fully appear to be him. This is quite strange.
I agree. Your appearance is fully different for me, given that the Moriarty I know has brown eyes and dark hair. And he's much chaotic compared to you.
Interesting, it appears as if the two of you, as in the Sherlock that I know and the Sherlock I currently have the pleasure of conversing with, have far more similarities than my counterpart.
Having done some more research, I can also say confidently that there is only one Moriarty that you know of. This is quite odd, as I have two brothers, Louis and Albert, that my Sherlock knows well and that the rest of the population know of.
If I may ask, are you familiar with a Doctor Watson? My Sherlock is quite close to the man, but it seems as if even the people that we both know may not have counterparts. It may be worth our time to determine who does and who does not.
As far as I know about my Moriarty, he doesn't have any siblings. He has a partner in work who is his private sniper, though, named Sebastian Moran.
As for Doctor Watson, yes, he is my blogger. He archives the mysteries I have solved, which unexpectedly help me get more interesting clients over the years.
Interesting. It seems as if you and your Sherlock is not as hostile to each other. My Moriarty, to say the least, is a criminal mastermind planning every move like a spider on its web, but runs on spontaneous bursts of ideas.
Very odd, I do not believe that I have encountered someone who does not know of my brother Albert at least. The differences we have catalogued do lessen the surprise though.
I did know Sebastian, though as far as I am aware, his sniping abilities were constrained to the Afghan War and he was killed in action, may he rest in peace.
Ah, quite interesting, as you appear to have a blog yourself as well. The Dr. Watson I know is a writer, however, so I suppose a blogger is not so far off.
Quite so, Sherly and I are very close friends as it turns out, though I am not a criminal mastermind. It stands to reason that you and this other Moriarty are not as close, then?

I have this maths theory that could probably be proven wrong in two seconds BUT
I have a theory that Pi is a recurring decimal. Pi goes on for infinity, an infinite amount of numbers in an infinite amount of sequences
At SOME point in that infinite space it must go back to ...14159... And so on, repeating the same decimals again, making it a number with a recurring decimal
But Pi is irrational so it's probably wrong but still, just a theory.
This is quite an interesting theory. Unfortunately, it is easily proven false, as you have noted. The number π is irrational, and a repeating decimal as you have outlined is quite rational in actuality. You are correct that logically, there must be multiple occurrences of the specific phrase "14159," but this does not make π a repeating decimal.
