Week 9 of 10: Get your racquet strung by a professional.Most amateurs just go to the tennis store and pick up anything off the shelf.A slower player would need a livelier string. Week 7 of 10: Identify your opponent’s weaknesses and hit there. Every match has a five-minute warm-up beforehand. Week 6 of 10: Don’t go for the line every shot.You don’t want to risk your shots. Week 5 of 10: Drink on every changeover; snack on every other.Amateur players don’t keep up their nutrition, you need to keep eating and drinking throughout the entire match.This helps keep the energy level up during the duration of the match. Week 4 of 10: Play the momentum of the match.A lot of amateurs will lose two points and try to rush to get back,, but by doing that they’re less organized and more panicky. Instead, simply slow down. Take the full 20 seconds you have between points to gather yourself. Australian Open Championship

Congratulations to Serena Williams and Roger Federer on winning the 2017 Australian Open Grand Slam! Serena beat her sister Venus in straight sets on Saturday and Federer finishes on top Sunday morning over Rafael Nadal in an entertaining 5 sets. Federer now holds 18 majors and Serena holds 23.
