Hi! I decided it's about time I make an intro post, so here I am! (:

I love animals, biology, and I am hoping to eventually become an exotic veterinary surgeon (:

Other hobbies of mine include language learning, creating fictional languages, studying etymology, theology, mythology, various other special interests, surgical techniques and fandoms.

I like dc, some marvel, and reading I also love, love, LOVE Shakespeare. My favourites are either Macbeth (live laugh love lady Macbeth) and Hamlet (pretty words.)

One day I'd like to travel a lot, and I would love to live either in Germany or move back to Ireland (:

birthdays are so much work because you gotta have the appropriate reaction to potential gifts and respond to every well wishing message and navigate everybody being a bit Weird around you for a day because it's a Special day which means everybody's kinda Odd about it and you also have to be a year older and contend with the passage of time on top of that? exhausting

imo the way you feel about groups it's fully socially acceptable to hate (like children or polyamorous people, among others) is the canary in the coal mine for underlying bigoted beliefs. if you're only supportive of marginalized groups when it's cool to do so, probably you don't actually care about marginalized groups, you care about other people thinking you care

The thing they don't tell you about dealing with ADHD is that sometimes when you really, really don't want to do something you absolutely need to do your brain will suddenly lift the barriers stopping you from cleaning or doing other chores you've been struggling to finish, and so you have to run around stopping yourself from doing all the dishes or laundry or deep cleaning the bathroom, which feels awful because you've needed to do all that for a while and you couldn't, and yeah you can come back to it after you do your thing you don't wanna do but then you'll be back in "I can't do this" mode because you don't have another task to avoid, so you just have to accept it and it sucks.

Brought to you by me not wanting to make phone calls so badly I had to actively stop myself from doing like seven other chores, which felt like being hunted for sport.
