So, Gay love is a sin… is it?
I really have no idea who these two guys are or even if this is an actual couple (they might be though), but let’s pretend for a moment that they are.
I’m aware that it is nearly impossible for people out of the LGBT+ community to fully understand that a different kind of love can actually exist. Usually all they think about it’s gay sex and how it’s “unnatural”, but they leave out the most important and beautiful thing about this relationship and that is LOVE! The photograph you’re looking shows 2 people that love each other.
This picture was probably taken by this couple because they have a life together, a life that’s not just sex, a life that has a meaning, a life that has both good and bad moments, a life that’s about commitment, about caring, about giving and about sharing. Does these things sound awfully sinful to you? I don’t think so, otherwise you should also see heterosexual relationships as despicable as this one.
For those who believe in God or any higher power, rest assure that He/She loves you for who you are and you have the same rights as any other person in this world. Be proud of who you are and who you’re with! and remind people that a different kind of love it’s not all about sex and that inside each of these relationships there is so much more going on. Sex it’s just a beautiful thing that you share with someone but it’s not the core of relationship; Love, Respect and Trust are.
So for all of those people out there that don’t understand this type of Love, please don’t judge what you don’t understand. Do you really think God would’ve condemn people for loving? I can’t talk on behalf of God but I’m sure he wouldn’t be happy with people spreading hate against other people.
As Aretha Franklin once sang: R-E-S-P-E-C-T …. may she rest in peace.
