Vi crouched in front of her vehicle. She hadn’t been able to watch Cait’s race in person, but she’d had Angie patch the video to her station, and had been keeping an eye on it. She had smiled when the Sheriff had placed. She’d heard that it was what she was aiming for, and Cait had talked about it being unlikely. The Enforcer had assured her that it was a definite thing that was gonna happen. Piltover’s Finest didn’t go after a target just to fall short. They went after it and they slammed it with the force of the whole future.

She took her wrench and checked the tires again before running her hand along the fender. The Light’s Limit had been something she’d been working on for a while, and it had been made completely from scratch. Fingers brushed along the mechanisms that turned the Limit into a marvel of aerodynamic engineering. She smiled as her knuckles brushed the seat. The most comfortable in all the race, for sure. Most people had gone for lightness and things like that, but Vi had developed her own synthetic material that made her seat comfortable and still lighter than most of the others were likely to be. She stood, rubbing her hands together, “Angie, run a system diagnostics. Don’t want a glitch to mess us up on the track.”

The AI’s voice chirped from the computer connected to the car, “Yes, Miss Vi. Running diagnostics on Limitless.exe”

Ugh!

i really wanna RP a fight scene with Vi, but as i’ve discussed many times around here, Vi = OP. She’s the second most physically strong champion in the game, and by far faster and a better fighter than the first strongest. Nobody outside of the mages and people like Braum even come close to beating her in a fight purely because everyone that has the skill to fight her would inevitably have to block one of her flurries of punches and that would be it. It’d go straight through Panth’s shield and crush his armor, it would rip through Scion’s dead flesh, it would shatter the remains of Riven’s sword. Whoever was fighting her would be one hit away from dead at all times, and that’s from someone that’s a quite fast fighter. Imagine fighting a heavyweight boxer that could literally make you explode in one hit. That’s not very fun to RP unless they dodge a lot, and Vi’s not one to fight most of the people that would dodge a lot. She mainly has beef with people like Darius or Garren or Scion. Draven, maybe, but he doesn’t seem the type to be good in close quarters in any way shape or fashion. Buh...

Nice I will definitely have to do some reading on that when I have the time. But for now what was her personality like after being cured? And when she was being controlled did she have multiple wanted posters with listed crimes even public indecency?

She’s a lot more nervous and guilt ridden than the average person after she gets better, but that’s mainly because of bad experiences. Ellie, which is her real name, is a wonderfully nice human being, and would honestly much rather shoot herself in the foot than shoot a butterfly. She’s switched over to using entirely nonlethal forms of self defense in a portal projector and her trusty shock pistol that’s been toned down some from its former state.

As for before, i think “Controlled” is a bit of a strong word. Given basic direction, driven mad through torture, and convinced that her sister had betrayed her is a much more apt description.

Anyway, the question. Yes, she did have multiple wanted posters up. No, the one that Riot released is not one of them. If you read all the way to the end where it says “Forging Official Wanted Posters” it makes a bunch of the more strange crimes on that list make more sense.

One more hour until NaNoWriMo 2015 is a go for liftoff in my region. Totally stoked! Also completely nervous! i’ll be posting excerpts from my novel as i write them here, and on my other Panic blogs including @panicked-house-of-muses, @panic-of-the-hunted, and (of course) @progressive-panic-by-jinx. It’s going to be a fun journey to find the mystical dragons and discover how they can survive in space, among other things.

// I'm disappointed with Worlds because the esports scene hasn't changed significantly in the past 2 years. 95% of the games are still 3-0 blowouts. NA still gets knocked out first while EU barely hangs on to reach semifinals. It's still a final showdown between Asian teams, and Korea still wins. I've become so disillusioned with the game that I didn't watch a single pro match all season.

Honestly, any sport is like that. You wanna know who’s gonna win the World Hockey Tournaments? Probly a Canadian team. Baseball? US. Repeat examples as needed. The thing is, certain places are more advantageous to practice in, whether that be the climate, the culture, or the overall mindset of the way the players play the game, it’s just a fact of life. As for the 3-0 blowouts, i have no idea. i thought it was closer this year, though i watch e-sports about as often as i watch any other sport. i don’t like watching a thing for any significant period of time if i could be that thing doing myself.

i’m disappointed about Worlds this year. Not because i don’t like SKT, i just wanted a different team’s skin set. Yeah, i know it’s not the best reason, but there it is. Congrats to SKT.

Funny thing is, if the color schemes end up looking as good as i think they will, the SKT skins will look sick, seeing as black with green highlights is my favourite color scheme. BUT STILL!
