Hiya! Welcome to the official Project Doomsday Tumblr account!

Project Doomsday is a W.I.P Asymmetrical Roblox game (like we don't have enough of those already) inspired by Forsaken and Die of Death.

You know the drill by now - if you're a survivor, help your teammates and survive until the end of the round, and don't forget the objectives! If you're a killer, leave nobody alive. Everyone has a different role to play and unique abilities that should help you in your goal.

As you play the game, you'll learn more about the realm and the poor souls stuck here. You'll learn about their past, their pain and even the reason they came here...

So far, this game is in the planning stage, but we hope to release a small demo that includes

★ 3 Survivors of differing class

★ 1 or 2 Killers

★ 3 Maps

Obviously, this is very small compared to most games, but like I said, this is a demo to show you what we'll be working on!

On this blog, we'll be showing you concepts and art for the game as well as answering any questions you may have about the game, it's characters or it's world! (Without giving away too much!)

I just ranted so much in Bezet's DMs because of all the shit I've heard about certain Roblox games to the point where my voice is gone. I have never played any of these games yet I'm so disgusted and disappointed.

please PLEASE remember how to have basic moral decency.

be kind to people.

don't be racist, homophobic, transphobic ect.

don't push peoples boundaries.

be empathetic towards others.

dont excuse people's actions if you know its wrong.

if you can't do something as simple as that.

Project Doomsday Gameplay Loop

(finally)

The basic gameloop we're currently planning is very similar to Dead By Daylight...then again I don't know how many Roblox players play DBD outside of Bezet.

Survivors must complete a certain amount of generators/objectives on the map until either they meet the required amount of generators (scenario 1) or there is only one survivor standing (scenario 2)

Scenario 1

Upon the last needed generator being finished (There will be more generators on the map then how many are needed to win), the remaining ones would become unworkable and the exit gates (term used from Dead By Daylight since currently we lack an alternative exit object but that is planned) are activated, allowing the survivors to slowly charge them up to open the exit to end round (wip?), or for the Doombringer (current WIP name for the killers) to kill off the remaining survivors before they escape. If there is only 1 survivor alive before the gates are open Scenario 2 plays. Upon opening a gate a timer starts and and the other gate becomes unworkable. any survivor still in the round when it ends is killed instantly by the realm, ending the round as a definitive Doombringer victory.

Scenario 2

If theres a single survivor left before the Gates are open a "Last Man Standing" or "LMS" (as you may be familiar with) is initiated. A timer starts in which the survivor must survive till the end without dying just like in Forsaken and Die of Death.

Additionally, similar to those games, certain survivors are planned to have a special LMS with certain Doombringers. Which ones? You'll have to wait and see ;)

Extra notes about the base rounds:

Throughout the map during the round, chests can be found containing one of few temporary items to help survivors through the match and help fill in any gaps the team may have.

We plan on adding alternative objectives that behave differently that may randomly replace generators for more variety.

Heya! Just an update on one of the characters;

After a talk with Bezet, I'd like to note that it is no longer not 100% confirmed that Magician will be in the game. The reason for this is that while their kit is written out, I acknowledge they're an OC for another game (Die of Death) and their lore heavily ties to Artful, which the Die of Death devs may see a problem with. While I was given the option to rewrite them, I refused because I care about Magician's lore (as do a few others) and I don't want to change it.

Before properly working on the demo, Bezet is going to attempt to contact someone on the Die of Death team to get their permission to use Magician in Project Doomsday. If they allow us to use them, no changes will be made and Magician will remain as a future Survivor. If they don't, Magician will be removed from the roster entirely.

Magician is a dear OC to me and I've had a blast writing their lore, drawing them and running their blog. No matter the outcome, I won't stop posting about them, they just might not be in the game. Only time will tell.

Sorry, we probably should've had this talk waaay earlier...that's on me.

Two useless updates to this!!

1. Attempting to get permissions will be done AFTER the demo is released to show we actually have a game

(just to reiterate: Magician won't be in the demo. The characters planned for the demo are N.B, Celeste, Kat, Thomas and maybe XxxC00LAD0N1ZxxX)

2. Bezet won't be doing the talking. I will! Which I'm....

Btw if anyone's curious on why there's not been any more character reveals recently, it's because I'm in charge of basically everything concept art related and I was told by Bezet to do the map concepts over the character concepts and um. I don't like drawing maps so I've been trying to force my brain to do it. Lol....

That and I have about seventy things I need to do unrelated to Doomsday qwq I'm working through things slowly but surely gang!!!
