ATTENTION! This page is not authorized by my superiors! However, I must tell as many people as possible about anomalies to warn you. This information is not intended for you if you are under 18, if you are a particularly sensitive person, or if you have previously encountered anomalies and could influence their psionic components. Otherwise, welcome, and be careful! (c) Anonymous SCP Foundation Employee. Archives Department, Project Chrysalis.
Hello. You can just call me Agent [DATA EXPUNGED]. I work at a place you probably haven't heard of. And it's a good thing you haven't. Because if you've heard of us, you're either my colleague or a victim.
I won't be writing this blog for fame or money (I could pay for revealing these secrets). I'll be writing it because people deserve to know. Not everything. But at least a little. Enough to be careful.
A brief overview of what I'll be posting here:
Files. Anomalous objects. Things, places, creatures, liquids, sounds—anything that changes people. Doesn't kill. My department deals only with anomalies that alter the victims or the reality around them, their minds, their bodies, and their wills.
I've seen such cases. I've read the reports. I've talked to the victims. I've personally eliminated some anomalies during field missions.
Now for the important part.
1. DO NOT LOOK FOR THESE ANOMALIES YOURSELF.
I don't give coordinates. I don't give location descriptions. It's extremely dangerous. Besides, many anomalies are kept under the Agency's secure protection.
2. IF YOU ENCOUNTER SOMETHING STRANGE OR ANOMALOUS
Don't approach it. Just write to me, describe the situation. I'll tell you what to do and call a cleanup team.
3. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FELL A VICTIM OF AN ANOMALY
Try not to spread its influence. Believe me, not everyone wants to be transformed into something they didn't want.
Subscribe if you want to know the truth. Remember: knowledge protects.
│ STATUS: Active—contained in an isolated storage chamber.
│ HAZARD CLASS: Safe
│ EFFECT TYPE: Chronological regression.
1. DESCRIPTION
Object: A two-door refrigerator of the [DATA EXPUNGED] brand, model year 1980s. Color: light beige. Height: 178 cm, width: 65 cm, depth: 72 cm. Externally, it is indistinguishable from a standard household appliance, except for the complete absence of any factory markings, serial numbers, or nameplates. The interior consists of two compartments: the main compartment (refrigerator) and the freezer (upper, with a pull-out drawer). During a standard inspection, the unit is inactive when the door is opened. Inside, there are several glass shelves, plastic vegetable containers, and standard lighting; the temperature is room temperature.
2. PROPERTIES / ANOMALOUS CHARACTERISTICS
When a living organism of any biological nature (human, animal, plant) is placed inside the device, reverse chronological regression occurs—the object's age decreases proportionally to the time spent inside. Trigger: being inside with the door closed. If the door is open, the effect is not triggered. The device does not consume electricity, but when connected to a power source, it functions like a regular refrigerator, and the anomalous properties are retained.
The living organism placed inside begins to "rejuvenate." The process is irreversible—if the device is not removed before reaching a critical point (age less than 0 years), it will continue to regress to the embryonic stage, then to a fertilized egg, after which it disappears (presumably, vanishing into nothingness). The regression process is completely painless, and the victim remains conscious throughout the transformation. However, as age decreases, cognitive ability declines, and after reaching an age of less than 5-6 years, the victim ceases to understand what is happening.
Regression coefficient for the Homo sapiens species: 1 minute = 1 year of life.
When extracted from the object, the victim retains full memories of their past life, but their brain physically corresponds to their new age—this creates powerful cognitive dissonance and [DATA EXPUNGED]. The younger the victim becomes, the faster the cognitive distortions occur.
An important limitation: the object only affects biological age. Chronological markers (documents, third-party memories) are not altered.

Andrew King was what they called a bad boy.
He knew it, and he liked it. Twenty-seven years old, nearly six feet tall, tattoos on both arms, tracksuits, the smell of cheap beer and weed. He hung out with his homies in the Lewisham area, getting into trouble, hitting on girls, and even taking part in a couple of robberies.
Friday night was business as usual, except...
— Search! Police, open up!
The apartment Andrew shared with two others was surrounded. Andrew heard footsteps on the stairs and saw blue flashing lights through a crack in the blinds. There was no time to think. Fighting a hangover and a headache, he pocketed two wads of bills and a bag of weed, grabbed his mobile, and stormed out the back door. Behind him, he could already hear a police whistle and shouts of, "Stop! It's the police!"
Andrew ran down an alley, made a couple of turns, and ran into a house. The house was old. Abandoned. He burst into the basement, tripped over the threshold, and almost fell.
In the darkness, his hand groped for something cold and metallic. A door. A refrigerator. Old, enormous. Andrew tugged the handle, climbed inside, pressed himself into the corner, and closed the door behind him.
It became quiet. Dark.
"Will they notice?" he whispered.
Somewhere upstairs, doors slammed, police yelled, boots stomped. Andrew sat hunched over in the darkness. He could hear his heart pounding.
He sat there for a minute. Then a second. In the third minute, he felt his head... as if it had stopped hurting. He always got headaches from hangovers. Not now.
In the fifth minute, he realized he could breathe easier and it felt like there was more room in the refrigerator. About 15 minutes later, he heard the police leave. The front door slammed. Silence.
Andrew decided it was time to get out. He opened the door. He climbed out, leaning on the edge of the refrigerator, and stood up. And then he realized something was wrong. His eyes had already adjusted to the darkness, and looking around, he realized the basement seemed to have expanded, the ceiling higher. And then it dawned on him: he was... lower. Much lower. The hem of his sweatshirt now hung down to his knees. His sweatpants were loose. His sneakers were falling off his feet. Andrew raised his arms. They were thin, the sleeves hanging comically. No tattoos, no dark hair.
He ran to the cloudy mirror on the basement wall to see his face.
He looked back at him... But he looked about thirteen. Shaggy hair, clear cheeks, no stubble. His eyes were large and frightened. About five feet tall. He looked the same as he had in middle school.
"No," he said. His voice was thin. Breaking. "No-no-no."
He clutched his head. His heart was pounding.
"This can't be happening! Am I high on weed? What the fuck?!" he said out loud. "I'm supposed to be twenty-seven, damn it!"
His voice broke into a falsetto. He covered his mouth with his hands. His body was shaking. Small, weak.
He ran out of the basement, tripping over his oversized sneakers. He burst out into the street. He squinted against the bright light. A woman pushing a stroller was coming toward him. She saw him—dirty, in an oversized jacket.
"You okay, kid?" she asked.
"Kid? Fuck you!" Andrew yelled. "I need the police."
The police arrived within five minutes. Two police officers. They asked what had happened. Andrew told them. About the raid. About the refrigerator. About becoming a child.
They didn't believe him. They looked at him, exchanged glances. One said,
"Boy, you have a really wild imagination. Let's go to the station and wait for your parents."
At the station, they sat him down in the hallway. They gave him a Snickers bar and some water. They asked him to give them his parents' phone numbers. But Andrew couldn't give them any numbers: he didn't have a father, and his mother had died 10 years ago. The police nodded and made phone calls.
Two hours later, two people arrived: a woman in a pink dress and a man in a checkered suit. The police were happy to see them: the couple introduced themselves as Andrew's parents. The boy was about to protest, but the man nodded almost imperceptibly and whispered in his ear, "Play along, kid. We know about you. We'll get you out of here and sort this out."
Andrew did just that.

METHOD: Subject is placed in the main chamber of the refrigerator (refrigerator compartment) for 5 minutes
RESULT:
The mouse has been removed. Externally, the age corresponds to 9 months. Activity is increased. Wool performance has improved. Body temperature is normal. No behavioral deviations were recorded. After 24 hours, the mouse retains its rejuvenated appearance. There was no mortality.
CONCLUSION: The effect is stable. Proportional rejuvenation is noted according to the type of test subject.
EXPERIMENT #010
DATE: 10/07/20■■
OPERATOR: Dr. Hazel K.
SUBJECT: Laboratory mouse, 14 months old (new)
METHOD: Subject is placed in a refrigerated compartment for 14 minutes.
RESULT:
The mouse has been removed. Age - 0 months (newborn). Eyes closed, no hair, weight - 2 grams. The mouse shows no signs of vital activity. Death occurred 4 minutes after extraction. An autopsy showed underdeveloped lungs and lack of thermoregulation.
CONCLUSION: The critical point is reaching an age below the survival period of the organism.
EXPERIMENT #012
DATE: 10/19/20■■
OPERATOR: Dr. Hazel K.
SUBJECT: Volunteer D-3327 (Arthur H., 76 years old, suffering from advanced senile dementia)
METHOD: Subject is placed in a refrigerated compartment for 30 minutes.
RESULT:
Subject recovered at age 46. My appearance became significantly younger - gray hair disappeared, wrinkles smoothed out, posture improved, muscle mass increased. Subject noted that he "feels better." Physical tests showed a 30% improvement in cardiovascular function. The memory is completely preserved. 7 days after the experiment, repeated testing showed a stable condition without signs of reverse aging. The subject expressed a desire to undergo the procedure again.
CONCLUSION: The effect is stable and can potentially be used to treat age-related diseases. Before and after photos included.
EXPERIMENT #012-1

5. TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT CONCLUSION
Object STR-1117 is a unique chronological anomalous artifact with a high risk of irreversible personality degradation if misused. Potentially dangerous.
Recommended containment protocol:
1. Object placed in a concrete isolation container in the [DATA EXPUNGED] containment area. Access is restricted to personnel with clearance level 4 or higher.
2. Experimentation involving human subjects is prohibited until further notice.
3. Forced use of the object is prohibited by the Ethics Committee.
4. Victims who have undergone regression are sent to special adaptation centers. Psychological rehabilitation is mandatory.
The object is a subway passenger train consisting of 6-8 cars, including the locomotive. Externally, it is indistinguishable from standard subway trains in the destination location. The train is mostly empty; in 5% of observations, the presence of standard forgotten items (suitcases, umbrellas, hats) was noted. The presence of a driver is unknown; it moves independently using [DATA EXPUNGED]. Attempting to enter the driver's cabin results in [DATA EXPUNGED] (see the Karus Incident Report).
Trigger: Entering through any open door. The effect is only triggered if the victim entering was alone on the platform and only if the described event occurs between 00:00 and 03:47 local time. It was first observed and described in 19■■ in the city of [DATA EXPUNGED]. The origin of the object is unknown.
1. PROPERTIES / ANOMALOUS CHARACTERISTICS
Upon activation, the victim experiences severe disorientation, dizziness, and a burning sensation throughout the body. The transformation of the victim's body and mind takes up to 3 minutes, during which time the lights in the car flicker or go out completely. After a period of time, the victim takes on the appearance, linguistic, and cultural characteristics of a native of the object's next destination. The train car model and interior change depending on the destination.
Stages:
1. Musculoskeletal restructuring (1 min) – changes in height/weight, general build. The victim's gender is retained in 100% of cases.
2. Cognitive restructuring (2 min) – restructuring of cognitive and behavioral constructs, but only within the context of a change in cultural programming. The victim forgets their original language and traditions, acquiring new ones depending on the train's destination.
3. Environment formation (3 min) – changes in the condition of the train, locomotive, and train cars.
4. All stages are not accompanied by physical changes in the victims' clothing, footwear, or personal belongings.
In their final form, the victim is fully aware of who they were before the transformation and remembers their original state and personality. However, behaviorally, the victim is indistinguishable from a native [DATA EXPUNGED].
Reversibility: Not recorded. Research into access to locomotive controls is being conducted by Professor [DATA EXPUNGED].

Eric Morrison wasn't supposed to work that night.
But his partner caught the flu, and his boss said, "Either you come on or find another job." Eric had no choice, so he went on shift. His rent in Brooklyn was already overdue. The last thing he needed was to lose his job.
By midnight, he'd delivered eight deliveries. The ninth was in Queens. He was almost there, but his bike got a flat tire on the windshield. He had to abandon it at a diner, get on the subway, and ride the train. He decided to return the same way. Jamaica-Van Wyke station. The platform was empty. The clock read 12:17 AM.
Eric stood at the edge, looking into the darkness of the tunnel. The train appeared suddenly from the depths of the tunnel, as if it hadn't been approaching gradually, but had literally leaped out from around the bend. Eric didn't pay any attention to it. Old carriages. Yellow-silver, and something seemed off about them. The doors opened with a hiss.
The light inside was dim. Not a soul.
Eric hesitated for a second. But fatigue got the better of him. He really wanted to go home. He sat down by the door, placed his empty cooler backpack next to him, and buried himself in his smartphone. The train pulled out.
"Just six stops," he muttered under his breath. "Six stops, and I'm home."
Suddenly, the lights in the carriage flickered and went out.
In the glow of his smartphone, Eric looked around. The train was moving slowly through the tunnel, slowing down. Eric thought it was possible the cables were shorting out, and if there was something serious, the driver would have applied the brakes. The lights didn't come on, and Eric noticed something—the smell. The subway smelled different. Eric frowned.
He looked up at the route map above the doors.
In the flickering light of the lamps, it showed an unfamiliar map. Circle lines. Names in Japanese. 山手線», «中央線», 新宿 Eric blinked. He thought he was hallucinating from fatigue.
And then the burning began. All over his body.
He clutched his chest. His heart was pounding, but the burning wasn't coming from his chest. It was coming from his fingers. He looked down. The strobe lights pressed against his eyes, but he saw: Eric was dark-skinned; he knew his own skin color. Now his hands were a few shades lighter. Yellowish. His fingers were thinner. His nails were pale, oval. Eric jumped up from his chair and realized he had become shorter. His body had shrunk, his arms and torso losing the weight and muscle he'd built up in the gym and on the bike. His shirt hung loosely on his thin shoulders.
"What..." he began.
His voice cracked. Something tightened in his throat. Elijah coughed. The sound was different. Higher.
He ran to the door. He looked in the glass. It reflected his terrified face, but with each passing second it was changing: Eric saw his cheekbones sharpen, his skin tone pale, his eyes narrower, and his nose smaller and thinner. His hair grew thicker and straighter, reaching his ears. Eric's dark eyes widened with terror.
He clutched the glass. The reflection clutched back.
"そんなはずはない!" he screamed.
Eric froze. He realized what he'd said. He didn't know Japanese. He knew Spanish, a little, because he'd studied it in school. But not Japanese.
He covered his mouth with his hands and looked around for help. Staring at his reflection, he didn't notice that the car around him had also changed: the seats, the handrails, the advertising posters... everything had become unfamiliar. The train slowed. Station lights flickered outside the windows. The platform. People. Bright sunlight. Advertising in Japanese.
The doors opened. A crowd of Japanese-looking people boarded the train as if nothing had happened.
Eric barely managed to step onto the platform, squeezing through the crowd. He looked around. A sign overhead: "Shinjuku."
A man in a station attendant's uniform approached him. Eric noticed a strange symbol on the lapel of his jacket.
"何が起こっているの?ここはどこ?" Eric asked. Before the man could answer, he was roughly pushed aside by two people in blue. Man and woman.
さあ、若者よ、我々と一緒に来なさい。the woman said.
INCIDENT SUMMARY
Date: July 23, 20■■, Tokyo.
A subject named Eric Morrison was found by Tokyo agents immediately after USTR Command reported the movement of STR-1055. The victim was extremely disoriented. He answered questions in perfect Japanese.
Emotional reactions varied, including frequent screaming and tears. An interrogation was conducted. The subject is fully oriented in his personality and memory, but notes the presence of false memories of his childhood in Tokyo. He was placed under observation.
Further research is pending. METHOD: Psychometric testing 24 hours after transformation.
RESULTS:
— Original native language (English): 0% listening comprehension, 0% reading comprehension.
— Japanese: N1 (native) level across all parameters.
— False memories: stable, subject "remembers" childhood in the Sumida district, school, and university. However, the subject retains a full awareness of their original personality as their true identity.
— Physical condition: anthropometric data fully corresponds to the average Japanese man aged 25-30 (height 172 cm, weight 68 kg). Blood type: A (previously O). Rh factor is intact.
NOTES: Subject periodically attempts to speak English, makes inarticulate sounds, and becomes enraged by the inability to do so. Ongoing psychological support and English as a foreign language courses are recommended.
Informed of the threat of information dissemination. Sent to the Victim Adaptation Unit with the subsequent possibility of returning to the original city. "Protocol 17" was used for contact with civilians.
RESEARCH LOGS ARE LACKED DUE TO THE INABILITY TO CONTAIN THE ANOMALY AND CONDUCT EXPERIMENTS.

4. TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT CONCLUSION
Object STR-1055 cannot be destroyed or contained—if any attempt is made to dismantle the tracks in one city, it begins appearing in another with double the frequency. Recommended containment protocol: a global network of observers at all metro stations between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM. If a train is detected, the platform will be blocked under the pretext of "technical malfunctions." All identified victims are subject to immediate isolation, psychological adaptation, and integration. Finding a method for reverse transformation is a priority for the International Department of Linguistic Anomalistics.
To date, 147 victims of STR-1055 have been identified. 89 have adapted to their new lives. 55 are in isolation with a diagnosis of "acute dissociative fugue with cognitive dissonance." Three remain missing.
│ STATUS: [Active] — in containment, location [DATA EXPUNGED]
│ HAZARD CLASS: Safe
│ EFFECT TYPE: Object and personality transformation.
1. DESCRIPTION
The object is a 2008 Blue Bird school bus, school yellow, with 72 passenger seats. Externally, it is indistinguishable from a regular bus. License plate: [DATA EXPUNGED]. The windows, including the windshield, are tinted. The interior is visible only from the inside. The presence of a driver is unknown; the bus moves independently using [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED].
Trigger: entry through the front door. It does not matter whether the engine is running. The victim can enter voluntarily or be carried in by an unauthorized person. The effect does not trigger if the victim is carried in unconscious. It was discovered and described in 20■■ in the city of [DATA EXPUNGED]. The object traveled along regular routes, picking up unsuspecting students and passersby.
1. PROPERTIES / ANOMALOUS CHARACTERISTICS
Upon activation, the victim experiences a sharp tingling sensation throughout the body. The transformation takes up to 7 minutes. Observers see a flickering yellow light through tinted windows.
Stages:
1. Musculoskeletal restructuring (1-3 minutes) – height change to a range of 180-195 cm.
2. Adipose and muscular correction (3-5 minutes), as well as changes to the skin and personal markings – tattoos, piercings, and scars disappear. Teeth straighten. Minor visual defects disappear.
3. Identity formation (5-7 minutes) – high PSI influence. Further research is required in the PSI Threat Department.
4. All stages are accompanied by physical changes to clothing, footwear, and personal belongings.
Final form: a physically perfect member of a college football team, aged 18-22. The victim's gender changes to male with a 98% probability (regardless of their original gender). In 2% of cases, the victim becomes a female cheerleader. Victims are fully aware of who they were before the transformation, remembering their name, family, and profession. However, the skills [DATA EXPUNGED] are "added" to their brain.
Reversibility: Not recorded.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Stephen Cunningham wasn't supposed to be on that bus.
He rarely took the bus to school. His roommate usually picked him up, but today his roommate went to visit his parents, and Stephen's alarm didn't go off. He overslept. He got ready in a hurry, rushed out of the dorm at 8:47, threw an unwashed hoodie over his shoulders, and ran to the bus stop.
The bus pulled up a minute later.
Steven didn't pay attention to the number or the route. He was looking only at his phone, opening a lecture on quantum physics he hadn't finished yesterday. He hopped up on the step, swiped his student ID card at the validator, and plopped down in the nearest window seat.
The bus pulled out.
Only a minute later did Stephen look up and realize: the bus was empty. Absolutely. Not a single passenger. Just him, the driver's cabin behind the tinted glass, and the cloudy, scratched windows.
"Strange," he muttered. "An empty bus at rush hour?"
He wanted to get up and go up to the driver, ask where they were going. But then he felt something strange: his legs wouldn't obey him. Steven looked down. His legs and arms were starting to tingle and go numb.
Steven had time to think, "Cramping? I need more potassium." And then his spine cracked. He let out a cry of surprise. Steven watched as his height increased, his hands changed right before his eyes. His thin, pale fingers thickened, the skin on his palms became rougher. Veins stood out on the backs of his hands. His calves and thighs strained against the fabric of his skinny jeans, and the fabric dug painfully into his crotch—Steven felt himself growing bigger there too. He felt his muscles begin to bulge and grow larger. Not enormous, but still, he was becoming more athletic. His biceps and deltoids grew, straining against the fabric of his hoodie. His back broadened. Rounded pectorals and six-pack abs appeared.
His buttocks rounded out, straining against his jeans so tightly that he could hear the fabric crunch.
"What... what the...?" he choked out in a strange voice. Low. Hoarse.
He jumped up. The pants were his favorite jeans. On his feet were some white sneakers with dirty laces. A bomber jacket replaced his hoodie, and a necklace appeared around his neck. A ball appeared in his hands instead of a phone...
And then he realized: this strange bus. He had to get out...
He ran for the exit. His body was unresponsive. It felt heavier. Broader in the shoulders.
The bus stopped at a traffic light. The doors opened. Stephen tumbled out, sprawled on the pavement, scraping his palms. He jumped up. He ran. He tripped over the curb and fell to his knees in front of a flower shop window. He raised his head. And he saw his reflection in the glass.
A stranger was looking back at him.
Steven had never had red hair. His was dark and long. A boy with a short, sporty red haircut stared back at him in the reflection. A pale, frightened face. The face was still his, but now it looked slightly more masculine.
Steven touched his cheek. The reflection repeated the gesture.
"No," he said. "What happened? How?"
Then Steven felt a slight twinge in his neck, dizziness, and caught a glimpse of two uniformed figures above him.
INCIDENT SUMMARY
Date: May 17, 20■■, City of [DATA EXPUNGED]
A subject named Steven Cunningham was found by agents monitoring the STR-793 anomaly immediately after his transformation. He was tranquilized and brought to the facility. He was interrogated. The subject is fully aware of his personality and memory. He expresses deep concern and anxiety about his new appearance. He notes behavioral and cognitive changes, namely a desire to exercise, a craving for light alcohol, and a desire to get onto the field to play football. He actively suppresses these desires, successfully. He was informed of the threat of information dissemination. Protocol 47 was used to contact civilians. He was released for observation.
METHOD: Subject instructed to enter STR-793 to test the selectivity hypothesis.
RESULT: After 7 minutes, a man 188 cm tall and weighing ~102 kg of muscle mass exited the bus. When asked, "Do you remember your name?" he replied, "My name is... Margaret," after which he burst into deep baritone tears. After 20 minutes, the subject began performing voluntary push-ups, commenting on his condition.
DURATION OF OBSERVATION: 3 months. Referred to the PSI Threat Unit for further research. Report pending.
4. TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT CONCLUSION
Object STR-793 cannot be destroyed without risk. Two detonation attempts resulted in [DATA EXPUNGED] being released to all personnel within a 500-meter radius. Containment is safe unless the anomaly is interacted with.
Containment protocol recommended: secure parking in Zone [DATA EXPUNGED].
